My wife and I have visited many Applebee's in our travels and we went here before going to a baseball game. Greeted and promptly seated by friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and our food was very good. One of the best Applebee's we've been to.

My wife and I were hesitant to visit Old Chicago because they were rated 43 of 44 restaurants in Liberal. Then I noticed only 1 review so we decided it must be new. They opened in December of 2017. The previous reviewer must have had a bad night, or was drunk because we found the place to be superb! We were greeted at the door by an enthusiastic hostess welcoming us to OC. Our waitress (Tonia) was EXCELLENT! She made spot on recommendations. We tried the Traditional Pizza with Chicago Thick Crust. I loved it. It was loaded with Pepperoni, and Italian Sausage. She recommended the new peach tea, and that hit the spot. Our drink glasses were always kept filled. My pet peeve is empty drink glasses because the server does not check back enough. Tonia checked on us frequently without giving us the feeling she was hovering. She recommended the house salad which was very good. Over all this place gets the highest ratings from us. Friendly staff, Great Service, Fantastic Food! The manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was good and thank us for dining with them. I was impressed and will definitely be back whenever we are in Liberal.

We ordered 8 pieces of all dark meat original recipe, no sides.What we got:8 pieces original white and dark meat3 sides, 2 large mashed potatoes, one so overstuffed that the container was cracked and potatoes began falling out of the bottom of the styrofoam container, large coleslaw, gravy.We paid for the sides but weren't asked what we wanted. Had we been asked we would have said, "no sides, thank you."Whatever happened to customer service?My recommendation: Avoid this restaurant.

In a hurry and want something reliable but not spectacular? Then Arby's is your place. My friend often gets a cheeseburger or some kind of chicken sandwich and she is happy with it. The fries are good too. I am a vegetarian and so I get a side salad and potato wedges and a drink. Works in a pinch, in the drive-through.

Passing through Liberal, KS on an RV trip. Discovered a great little restaurant/bar in the basement of a commercial building called the Salty Dawg. We went in for a glass of wine without intending to eat there(we had dinner reservations at an Italian restaurant). We were talking to the owner and he was telling us how good his steaks were. He serves only Angus beef which he gets from a farm in Texas called 44 Farms. We decided to cancel the Italian reservations and stay and try the steaks. We were glad we did! I had the rib eye steak. This was the most flavorful, tender and delicious rib eye that I've had in my life. My wife had the top sirloin and it was totally meat- no fat or gristle. She loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal as well as talking with the owner and the rest of the friendly staff. If you are ever in Liberal, try it- you'll like it!

Being the new kid on the block didn't stop Jac's from becoming my favorite for breakfast and lunch. Adding Friday and Saturday nights just gave it that extra edge. Super friendly servers, good food, and a good price make this a good choice for everyone. Has it always been perfect? No, but the staff was apologetic, fixed the issue and softened the blow. Now that I've moved away I still plan on stopping in when visiting as long as the doors are open.

I recommend the wings, the tacos, the ribeye sandwich, the steak. I don't recommend the smoked ribs. The food is excellent, the beer is cold and a good selection and the service is very good. The chicken wings at Billy's are some of the best I have ever had.

On a girlâs road trip we were traveling through Liberal and stopped here! WoW great food and wonderful service! Everything we ate was delicious and the prices were good! What they can do with chicken is marvelous and great lunch specials! By the way the burgers are good too!! Wish I lived closer.....
