Decided to try it out after hearing about it. Good selection of different types of burgers, toppings, sides, and sauces. My husband loved the raw oysters! However for being a burger place they didnât add cheese I ordered which was a add on available on their menu, nothing crazy or special order. The server did bring some cheese out on a plate after the fact, but who wants cheese on a plate? Cheese is supposed to be melted on the burger, or at least it has been everywhere else Iâve gone! Also make sure you ask for extra sauce or ketchup you want for your fries. they only bring one little dish which wasnât enough for us with the large serving of fries. The fries are really good!

Perfect small spot for home cooking. They have something for everyone. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so they close at 2pm.I have had their Chicken and dumplings and also the chopped steak with onion gravy. Both are excellent.Fairly large portions.Super friendly staff. They do get rather busy for a small restaurant so dont get frustrated...it is worth the wait.

This is a local favorite. The bar area is awesome with the beers on tap - great old bar atmosphere. The sausage platter is excellent - really good. Don't order the sirloin - it can't be cut and will bounce back at you. Service is excellent.

Hondos is Richmond's prime destination for great steak. Hondos features a variety of perfectly aged cuts, broiled to your request and served sizzling. The menu features three different cuts of filet mignon, a cowboy rib-eye and a 24oz porterhouse. Hondos
Hondos has quite an extensive menu (including fish) and offers interesting sales/side dishes as well. The interior is somewhat and decor is dated, but it is roomy and the lighting is cozy. We tremendously enjoyed their steak and a fish special (the ribs were nothing to 'write home about'. Service could be better. A bit high priced for the overall experience, but the food will not disappoint.$$$$

Former chef at the Jefferson's Lemaire, Walter Bundy opened this place and I was worried it might be a little too snooty. I was wrong. A wonderful atmosphere that had amazing food. The waitstaff knew the menu up and down and made some excellent recommendations to us. Enjoyed everything!

Boychiks has always been and will continue to be the he best breakfast option in Glen Allen. Reminiscent of a NJ Diner they offer quick service and great portions. Prices are phenomenal as well. I recommend the Corned Beef Hash or the pancakes! Enjoy

Not quite a trip back in time for the ambiance, but they do a nice job of making you think you were back in the 1960's except for the food which is very modern. The chef takes pride I a menu that runs from standard fare to more farm to table friendly fare with healthy options. The service was quick and the food well prepared and portions more than adequate. And if you wait long enough you can get your turn at the juke box.

Est. 2011, The Hog specializes in smoked meats, fresh seafood, made from scratch sides & desserts. Donât forget to try a fresh squeezed limeade.
Was expecting more based on reviews. The pulled pork was good- very little fat. Cole slaw and baked beats were average but the hush puppies were very good. The mustard sauce is the bomb. Biggest problem was how slow everything was- took a long time to get the food as well as getting the check/ paying the bill. No one ordered anything other than barbeque. Spent more than 2 hours at the restaurant- not unexpected at a fancier place but too long to have a barbecue dinner with no dessert. The place doesn't have many tables but they can't turn them efficiently due to how slow everything happens. If we return it will be to pick up takeout.

For about 6 months I kept driving by the shopping area and smelly and smoky smell to and from work. My daughter and I decided to finally stop in and have dinner to try this BBQ. I was pleasantly surprised the restaurant is clean and well staffed with tables no clutter. Very bright dining area, wood tables and comfortable black chairs. The menu is the right size not a book to read. Being a rib person I had to try the ST. Louis ribs, since there are so many styles of them in different places. I had 2 sides the bbq beans and the red skinned potato salad. My daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. Our meal came out in 10 minutes My daughter stated her Chicken tenders were good not dry well breaded and had a good taste. She was given more fries than she can consume, plus a nice size drink. My ribs came, 6 bones, with 2 sides and cornbread piece. The Ribs were sauced, nice smell of smoke, meaty but a tad dry, some parts a bit chewy but good. The bbq beans had a different taste than other places I have tried a unique taste, they also needed a bit more sauce but good. The Potato salad was a mix of potatoes, red onion, Mayo, flavored with fresh dill and I belive egg? The chunks were quite big, and they really need to cut them in smaller pieces. The portions were big enough for 2 people. I had to take half of it home. The brought a carrier with different sauces. The original was good but the others may need to be remixed since they had strange tastes but over all ok. The meal I would rate about an 8 since they need to concentrate on not over cooking their foods. Maybe searching out new recipes. Our meal came to $21.50 plus tax and was about average based on other restaurants in the areaThank you (and your daughter) for coming in. We hope to have you back to try the other items on our menu. Food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Servers are not up to date with their beers which was a shame, because that had an extensive beer list. Servers also use tablets that our server was not familiar with so the order took a long time to place. Hi! Thank you for your feedback. There is a possibility that you had one of our new servers, and I sincerely apologize that this was not communicated to you during your visit. Because of our extensive beer list, and large menu it can take a little while after their training is complete to feel completely comfortable and serve our guests in a more timely manner. I appreciate your patience though and I am so sorry that your dining experience was affected. I hope you will give us another try in the future and check out some of our other menu items. Thank you again for your feedback!
