We stayed here for 3 nights the week before Memorial Day. The suite was fantastic!! Enough space to spread out with the separate bedroom and having a kitchenette. It is the perfect location to get to all the attractions, although not within walking distance. There was a convention going on, but we weren't really bothered by them. There is enough space on the property. Our room had a view of the woods, but really was overlooking the parking lot. Not really a bother, but it would have been nice to have the lake view. I imagine the lake view rooms would have a perfect view of the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for making a mid-week getaway so special!!!

Carrington's is attached to the Landmark resort. The dining room and bar are attractive and they also have a large deck with stunning views. The restaurant was very well staffed when we visited. Unfortunately, the food was very unimaginative. The flavors bland, and most appeared to be pre-prepared or frozen. With a good chef and a well trained staff this could be an outstanding restaurant especially given its location. Sadly, there was very little evidence of management presence or a desire to make this a great destination restaurant. Hopefully management will pay attention the the reviews and work towards making this the outstanding restaurant it can and should be!Thanks for sharing, John. We always appreciate honest feedback. We asked the owner of the Feathered Star Inn for a recommendation for a nice dinner. Her first choice was The Log Den. Great looking, like a big log house. Atmosphere inside was neat. I had the Canadian Walleye with bacon, so good. Plenty of food, good food, great atmosphere, what else do you need for a night out.

If you are paying your bill with cash be prepared to be ripped off. We were a party of 4 and we all paid with a bill larger than what was owed. We should have received bills and coin back. When we spoke to the waitress she explained that the restaurant does not deal with or use coins! We should all have received $8.49 in change instead we received $8.00 even. Doesn't sound like much from just one table but over the course of a day or week it adds up.......does the IRS or the law know what is going on here!?!?Mary -Thanks for your feedback. I met an old friend I havenât seen in a while at Harbor View Grill. And what a view it is! It was raining so we stayed in the restaurant instead of going to the roof but it still had a great view because of the huge windows. We shared the spring rolls and fries. The food was great and the service was excellent!

Six of us had breakfast at the Rusty Tractor. This is a really cute, quaint restaurant. Our server, Mariah was excellent. The servings are really large. The food was served nice and hot and tasty. The skillet combinations are nice, large and tasty combinations. The pancakes cover the entire plate and are very tasty. My wife had the pumpkin pancake and she really liked it. In addition, we felt that the prices were quite reasonable.

We stopped for dinner on a fall getaway weekend in Door County and tried the smoked prime rib, which was excellent. Some of our group also enjoyed the smoked ribeye sandwich. The sweet potatoe fries were excellent and the creamed corn nuggets were interesting and tasty. The place was jumping....literally! The bar side of the restaurant is a really loud sports bar with a jukebox and on this particular saturday it was filled with rather well-oiled patrons who were shouting over each other to be heard. The atmosphere was not ideal....we were glad to finish our meals and leave....but the food was good and the service was also good. I just wish we'd been seated in the other side of the restaurant!

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch, and we were rather confused by the menu. The server really did not help. In the end, we ended up splitting (at the server's advice) a cauliflower cheese bake. It was very very good, BUT not enough for two people, as the server suggested. We made it work and moved on. Thank your for visiting our restaurant. I appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed the cauliflower and would like to apologize for falling short on the service side. I understand that our menu can be confusing. We pride ourselves on giving our customers the best experience possible. I am sad that was not the case for you and your husband.
