Well folks.......I have been out in Hampton Bays for 7 years and said many times that "I have to try Villa Paul" I cant believe it took me 7 years to get here. Villa Paul is a wonderful restaurant which offers an amazing dining experience. Denise our waitress was just amazing with her table service and control of the delivery of our dinner. We went all out with the apps.....escargot, fried calamari, mussels in white wine and garlic, meatball trio and baked clams....yes folks, we went all out!!!Ford diner we ordered the shrimp scampi, Tuscan chicken and the amazing roast duck in a cherry sauce.. oh boy was that delicious... check out the pics!We had a great time here tonight, service was amazing and the night was memorable...after 2 bottles of Chardonnay...whew, and dessert! Is that right....2 s's?I look forward to my return!WOW, thank you for your wonderful review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your experience with us, and Happy Anniversary to your in-laws! We had a spectacular day and evening to enjoy with our friends. We ate at Edgewater and were happy with the service. The scallops were good, stuffed flounder was ok, the salads were fresh. I wish I could say something great about this place, but I canât. Food used to be better I think. Maybe it was just an off day. The view is worth another try.Consistently crafting a perfect meal is truly our passion, Marie, and I'm sorry to see that this wasn't the overall impression you left with after stopping by. From the ingredients to the finished product -- it's all about showcasing the very best of the best. This beautiful restaurant is situated by the water with some fantastic views of the boats and water. We came to this place for late lunch or early dinner. They donât take a reservation for two but they said they have a table at the time we called them. We got there and found a valet parking, quite a big parking space here. Then we followed the path walk to the restaurant. Along the way thereâs a nice garden all around. Beautiful decorations inside and outside the restaurant. We had a table right away, by a glass window. We had Brussels sprouts for appetizer. This one was quite salty. I didnât care much for this. Then my entree was the swordfish that was served with corn and couscous. This one is highly recommended! The fish was fresh and the taste was excellent! Hubby had the Cowfish burger. I tried a piece. The fries was good, not greasy, and the burger was pretty good. We adored the ambience. The service was excellent. We had Allegra serving us. She handled the table really well. After the meal we took a walk outside to take some fresh air before going to the valet. We had a nice experience and hope you will too. Cheers!

First time here with a group of 8.We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was polite but it became apparant she was not trained properly and overwhelmed. Two persons in our group had no settings and she said there were no more placemats . Another server came over and took care of it. Our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive. The waitress never mentioned the specials so we had to go look at the blackboard. We ordered salads and entrees. We waited another half hour and some of the salads arrived. We never got to try the caprese salad because it didn't arrive at all.After speaking to a manager we stressed that our entrees arrive together. They almost did. We got our entrees almost 2 hours after being seated. The other manager was apologetic and gave us some desert on the house. The sad part is that the food was good. Salmon, scallops, fried chicken, burgers and fries were all well prepared and tasty. I would be reluctant to go back unless they get their act together. The are only able to have one seating because of the inefficiency. It wont be easy to survive unless they improve service.

From arriving we knew this was a special place. Tammy our bartender was wonderful. Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The menu was extensive, we really were spoilt for choice. I had scallops to start - they were seasoned beautifully and just melted in the mouth, followed by perfectly cooked fish and seafood in the fish stew - top notch. My husband had the most delicious tomato bisque to start - who knew that tomatoes could taste this good! Followed by steak which was cooked to perfection, you couldâve cut it with a butter knife. Staff and service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Once again 1 North came through with an outstanding dining event. This time it was a surprise birthday party for a dear neighbor. The setting was perfect in a quiet area id the restaurant. Menu choices were varied and well prepared ... servers were attentive and efficient, as they moved among us quietly and quickly, keeping everyone happy and well fed.

Our family gathers every year for a couple weeks in East Quogue. New Moon has $2.00 Tacos on Tuesdays and they are absolutely delicious! We go every year. Fantastic value for a family night out. I have also eaten there other times with a smaller group and enjoyed a nice steak dinner. Shortly after we sat down the chaos began which was due to a waiter who had a an inappropriately high opinion of himself.The drinks and bread were poorly managed.FOUND PIECES OF THE TIN CHEESE WRAPPER IN THE SALAD!The waiter must have come to his senses after causing a scene which didnât sit well with me. He offered dessert on the house. After we consumed the dessert he said one dessert was on the house. Bait and switch,to add insult to injury.I called the owner later in the day to report the incident, he offered a complimentary bottle of rose upon my next visit.In addition to apologies he said what many restauranteurs say, â good help is hard to findâ to which I say â not my problemâWhat makes him think I would return?
