We held our daughter's bridal shower there and they went out of their way from the booking through the event to make sure everything went perfect. Nothing but raves from the attendees about the gourmet brunch and the beverages were super too. Steve and his team did a great job.

My wife and I enjoyed our recent dining experience at The Capital Grille with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. We were seated promptly and our server was personable but professional. Our cocktails were perfectly prepared and our steaks were delicious. My brother-in-law enjoyed the sea scallops while my wife and I had the bone-in filet mignon and my sister-in-law had the small filet. We also ordered side dishes of au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach that complemented our entrees. We decided to pass on dessert. We would recommend The Capital Grille and plan to return whenever we're in the Stamford area.

In Darien, there are numerous restaurants on the Post Road. Search out and try the Goose American Bistro.Clams Casino and the Angus Beef Burgers are tremendous. There were not many people there for a Monday evening, so the wait staff was not over-taxed, but (while friendly) they ware not too attentive.On the whole, Iâll come back to try it again, but the service will have to be upgraded to meet the quality of the food.

Step into Rory's, a few feet off both 95 and the Post Road, and you feel like you are in a cozy country inn in Scotland with the fire going, a lively crowd two-deep by the bar, tables filled with families, couples and friends. We have had some of the best meals anywhere here (the chef used to have an award-winning restaurant in Westport). Osso bucco, sea bass, scallops, home made pasta and wonderful desserts. Bar choices are amazing for a small restaurant with a wide range of Scotches and other top-shelf choices.

Full tonight just wanted to have my chicken Francese 2 breast in wonderful lemon and baked potato with fresh veggies ...my husband had the prime rib with mash potato...we shared a Caesar salad and garlic bread delicious ...they have Greek dishes as welll which I have tried...we have followed this hard working family owned business from Greenwich to Stamford check the menu on line...lovely interior light and clean ...

This place is excellent! It has a great menu that's good for casual dinning with the family and kids or for fine dining with clients or celebrations! The decor is very nice and welcoming. Always a good crowd here and the filet Mignon is divine! It's expensive, but it's always worth it! Enjoy

The experience on whole was amazing. The location was great. It was cozy and incredible place to catch up with friends and family. we visited in weekdays and place was not crowded. Food was delicious. It's little pricey. Our server Mario was great. Be prepared to have lots of time at hand as it usually takes more than a hour.

As former (many moons ago) Rowayton residents, my wife and I were eager to try this restaurant. We were meeting friends for a Sunday lunch and looking forward to good food and catching up with our friends. We had a reservation for noon and showed up five minutes late. We were told we could eat on the porch but would have to be done by 1:00pm due to a large party they had booked. When we said we did not want to have be done by 1:00 we were put at a table by the door to the porch, which was busy with staff going in an out. We were the only ones in this small dining room. It didn't help that the main AC unit was evidently broken, so the wall and window units pointed at our table were cooling the entire restaurant (as explained by our waiter). After driving 1 1/2 hours to eat there we left. Why the person I made the reservation with a few days earlier didn't tell me our lunch had a tight time parameter I don't know. The young lady's we dealt with had no interest in helping us with options as to our dining experience with the restaurant.We found an excellent alternative in Norwalk and have no plans to return to The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood.Royce,Thank you for taking the time to review The Restaurant. There was never a time parameter on your reservation so there was no need to mention that on the phone. The job of the host is to offer you all available tables. They offered you the table on the porch so you would have the option to sit there if youâd like. That table was going to be used for a large party so if you chose to sit there yes that specific table would have a time parameter in order to accommodate the party. We are currently working on getting our air conditioning system back up and running. In order to cool the restaurant we have to insert window units. If this was uncomfortable for you we do apologize and hope you understand this is a temporary solution. We hope youâll reconsider dining with us now knowing that you had no time restraints and the AC will be back to normal soon. Thank you.
