We use to come here as they had really good sausages to take with you or eat there. We returned this year to find out they were No Longer in Business . What a sad day for us . We love the food here . Staff was wonderful place was clean .

My husband and I played a round of golf there and didn't want to drive anywhere else to eat after, so decided to have something easy to eat at their restaurant. Inside was nice and cool. I ordered jack and blue with fries, and my husband ordered chicken Parmesan. We liked the food, and the service was good, and the price was right. We just came back from the States, so appreciated the C $ as is. It cost us $35 (my husband had a beer, too), And I think that it was reasonable.

Had a very nice lunch here on the specials menu. The food was really good and the servers were very friendly. Will be back now for the supper specials and on the Thursday for that special. Great food!

We ate breakfast twice at this location while in Cranbrook. Both times we had excellent service from Clara R. She was friendly and efficient and remembered us from our first visit when we came back. Our meals were cooked to perfection, just as we ordered them. Our next trip to Cranbrook will include at least one breakfast at Denny's.

Since when (in our society) did it become ok for a burger, fries, and a beer to be $30? We had a few different items off the menu - all quite tasty but the price...seriously. For us locals, we will only come back once every couple years due to the price. The âtouristâ prices are just too high. On a more positive note, the service was great and the views are awesome. Too bad about the price.

We ate lunch in May 2019 the restaurant was very busy. we were seated by the Waitress. We ordered our dinner and the meal was delivered hot very quickly.. the food was fresh and hot. We enjoyed lunch in this peaceful location

Absolutely loved this place. The sports memorabilia is some of the best and as fans of hockey night in Canada, Don Cherry's was a required stop. The food was fabulous, with a great menu and a lot of adult beverages to enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

We decided to go out for breakfast and chose the Cottage because we hadn't been here for breakfast before. My wife has had lunch here many times and new the food was good.I had the breakfast sandwich which had egg, bacon and cheddar cheese on it. Toasted on their bread that they make in house. Nice thick bread. The sandwich was excellent and would have fed us both. My wife had the bacon and eggs which also came with hash browns and a slice of toast, again with their bread. Again it was very good. Prices were very decent and service very good. I believe it is open for breakfast and lunch and closes later in the afternoon.This is a nice small, local restaurant. Located a couple of blocks off Highway 3 on 9th avenue. If you are east bound on Highway 3 turn right at the first traffic light on the way into town. This puts you on 9th Ave so just proceed straight through the first light and you will fine the Cottage on the right about half way down this block.It was very good as expected and we will go back again.

service was superb. food was good. atmosphere loud. Was surprised by a partron coming in and being seated with a dog that was not wearing any service dog i.d. Good afternoon and thank you for your recent visit to The Heid Out. The service dog in question is actually for one of our local Canadian military veterans and is trained to recognize any anxiety in his owner. The Wolfhound is by no means inconspicuous, but is one of the best mannered canines we have ever seen and we fully support what the dog brings to the gentleman's quality of life. The veteran does carry a card with the proper credentials for a service dog but simply choses to not to have him wear an attention grabbing vest. We look forward to your return soon!!warm regards,
