It's hard to complain about a free continental breakfast. About average for places of this caliber. Was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I stopped in there once and was surprised to find the place dirty, partially crowded. Staff seemed unorganized, and not friendly. The food was mediocre.

In the Riverbend Shopping Center near Walmart
My co-workers and I dined at Applebees today for lunch. We ordered a variety of foods: baked potato soup, lemon chicken, club sandwich, hamburger, oriental chicken salad, and chicken sandwich. Everything was good. We took our time and socialized in the pleasant atmosphere. Our server was polite and efficient. I noticed several people sitting at the bar drinking beer and watching a basketball game on television. If you like to hang out with good food and good drinks, you would like this restaurant. I could tell that it's a fun place!

You can never go wrong with Hardee's. The staff at this particular establishment is so sweet and nice. They bring the food right to your table in a basket! My husband and I liked the $4.00 meal when they offered it. Now, we enjoy the $5.55 bag deal. The food and service is good, and the restroom is always clean. Of course, there are also unlimited drinks. Overall, you just can't complain about anything at this Hardee's. You will hear us cheer: Hooray for Hardee's!

For years and years this special little restaurant didn't advertize or market themselves--because the word of mouth was all it needed to keep the tables full. There is now a decent size sign to help you find the place that my husband and I go to when we want to enjoy a good steak (freshly cut in the kitchen) and served to perfection . . . every single time. The Cat and Owl is a real throw back kind of restaurant. Decor from the 60's with lots of cats and owls as decor. Don't let any of that color your perception about the place--this is a first class, first rate steak house (good seafood too) and the best, very best salad bar anywhere. Seasonal vegetables (grown out back) are featured (when was the last time you could order collard greens at a steak house?) and the ruby red tomatoes on the salad bar only have to travel from the garden to the table. The best wait staff ever. If you have been before it is just like Cheers --they remember you. Just off 64 it is a easy stop on the way from WVA east. A great local spot if you haven't been and you live nearby. If you are vacationing nearby and want a really nice meal, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You will not be disappointed. Oh and they have a full bar too. This is a family restaurant. It is not unusual depending on the time of year to see young couples in prom clothes, sitting next to a family with kids, parents and grandparents. Comfortable and first rate--all rolled into one lovely little restaurant. The only drawback is that is only open for dinner and closed Sunday and Monday.

Stopped here with friends on the way to visit family. The dark store front makes you wonder if it was open. After opening the door we found a well lit restaurant. The menu was mostly Italian and looked great! I ordered an Italian sub and my friends ordered a Philly steak panini and a Chicken Parmesan panini. Sandwiches came quickly and were huge!! Fries were hot with a little seasoning. My sandwich was hot and had a good flavor without being really greasy. My companions equally enjoyed theirs as much. I would recommend anyone check this place out. It was well worth the stop!
