Phily Diner

We’ve eaten here four or five times when traveling to Atlantic City. The Got Clubbed club sandwich is awesome as is the cheesesteak sandwich. Breakfasts are good, coffee is good. My husband ordered the lasagna and we were disappointed. It was a small casserole dish with ground beef, cheeses, and A FEW pasta noodles cut up and added into it. There were no layers of lasagna pasta. Very different from any lasagna that I’ve eaten in my years . Nevertheless, most dishes are worthy of good comments. The soups are on the mark. Love, live, laugh, eat, drink, and have fun as that is what life is all about !

We have ordered take out, and have dined in at Treesy's. Home cooked food. Everything was tasty .Great Collards, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese. Liked the shrimp and grits and salmon cakes. My husband has had the smothered port chops which he really liked, He found the fried pork chop well seasoned but a little tough. Would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Took my mom for a late lunch early dinner. Service was extremely friendly & good. We shared a veggie thin pizza which was delicious. We also split the lobster roll since its a seasonal dish. It is very small & not really worth the money. I have been to other Chicago Uno & food on regular menu has always been consistently good. Will return

I haven’t been to Bone Fish in a long time. The dinner I ordered was okay. I ordered a medium filet. It was very rare. The Mac and cheese was tasty. I wasn’t really impressed with the service either. I’m not sure if it’s worth a revisit.

Kitchen 519

Reviewed By O'Connor B

I have reviewed Kitchen 519 several times over the years, all of which were glowing reviews. We went with friends tonight who had never been there before. We prefaced the meal by saying “we have never had a bad meal here”. Tonight changed all of that. We were seated immediately upon our arrival and offered drinks and/ or glasses for our spirits. We were told the evening’s specials; all good so far.One member of our party ordered soup as a starter, one ordered the cauliflower appetizer and my husband and I shared the calamari which we have ordered many times before. The soup arrived long before the other apprtizers. The two other appetizers came and within minutes the entrees arrived - long before we were finished eating the appetizers. However, only three of four meals arrived. The fourth entree- a burger- was brought a full ten minutes later. My chicken was supposed to have a rum berre blanc sauce. It was dry as sand and very dark- almost burnt. It had absolutely no sauce of any kind. In addition , the “roasted” potatoes were almost burnt and the arugula was so salty you could barely eat it. No cheese was offered for the pasta dishes and we had to ask to gave the bread basket filled. The server rattled off dessert offerings - no menu was presented- and then left to get coffee and tea, never returning to get a dessert order but instead dropping the check. Service was slow and inconsistent food was brought by multiple servers with no one knowing who was supposed to get what order. The place was chaotic!!!Having suggested Kitchen 519 to our friends, we were both embarrassed and disappointed in all aspects of our evening. We will not be back any time soon.Hello I am sorry to read your review. We recently hired a bunch of new staff and I think that had something to do with your poor experience. We will definitely be speaking to the staff about these issues as your experience is not what we are aiming for. If you wouldn’t mind emailing us your address at [email protected] we would love to send you out something. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.

Their crab bisque is amazing. Definitely worth a trip alone. They have a good selection of local beer. The menu is sandwiches, salads, appetizers, burgers and pizza. We had the BLT sandwich and the grilled cheese both of them were delicious. The place is definitely a big meeting spot with the locals. Definitely worth a trip.

So we kept hearing about this place from our daughter who has friends in the area. Since we were going to be "down that way" we decided to stop in for brunch. The Diner is easy to spot from the road and has ample parking. We were seated promptly with no waiting, but that's not to say that the Diner wasn't busy! There are tables and booths which can accommodate large and small parties. The servers are diner veterans...they know just that right questions to ask to make ordering a breeze. Very friendly, too! Hubby had a yummy omelet while I opted for a delicious chicken sandwich which was so large that I could only eat half. (It reheated nicely for lunch later in the week) The coffee was delicious and our server was ever ready with the refills! This place is a gem!

We went to this diner as it was recommended highly by an acquaintance. Upon our 10am approach, there were dozens upon dozens of people waiting outside. They must have been waiting for larger tables, however, as we were seated immediately in a booth for 4. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink orders. An orange juice was included with my husband’s breakfast but he never got it. Our daughter’s banana nut crepe consisted of about 4 banana slices on the plate and nothing but walnuts inside the crepes . She was disappointed and I also felt they could have done better with preparation and presentation of this dish. I ordered French toast and sausage which was good. Basic, but good and plentiful. Noise level was acceptable. We were able to converse and dine without disruptive noise around us. We would dine here again, maybe just not on a holiday where the kitchen staff was probably overwhelmed as was the waitress who forgot our orange juice.
