Had dinner there and ordered the special which was Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes. It was great as was the price. Daughter had the smokehouse burger and he said it was really good. The waitress was friendly and checked on us appropriately.

The best that I can say about this restaurant is that the food was just ok. I wouldn't recommend it but it served a purpose for me.

This is a restaurant where the locals eat, many customers know each other and the waitresses by name, very down home feel. Food is cooked for you, not sitting on a burner waiting for an order. My eggs, ham and hash browns were perfectly done, spouse had scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast. She normally doesn't like hash browns but really enjoyed their fresh cooked flavor. Servers are friendly and attentive. Service is a little slower than in a restaurant with potatoes and meat already cooked and sitting on the grill but it's worth the wait.
Full service fishing resort at legendary Lake of the Woods, "The Walleye Capital of the World". Newly built lodge, restaurant, and bar offering a full menu. Lodging, charter fishing, meal plan are all available.
The resorts are the place to be during the summertime, and River Bend is the place to eat on Saturday nights. For a decent price (I think between $10-$15), you can partake in the all-you-can-eat fish fry with beans, coleslaw, and other great food. Seating is both outside and inside and sometimes involves live music. If you're in the area, you HAVE to try River Bend! Great views!
My neighbor and I had dinner at the Viewpoint Saloon on the first night of our 7 day stay. The burgers and onion rings were top shelf and the Linegnkugel beer brought back memories of college days in Wisconsin. The very large outdoor deck has some pretty spectacular views both up and down the Rainy River. They will even cook your catch for you if you like.
