Visited here with my boyfriend for some casual breakfast out, and it did not disappoint! I had seen this place on social media always uploading photos and was dying to try.Not a very extensive menu but what they did do they did it well.I had the cheese and bean toastie which was delicious and my partner opted for the full English! Always a winner. Lovely staff who couldnât do enough for you - highly recommend for a spot of lunch/brunch!

Weâve been to Smokehouse 138 a few times before and really enjoyed our visits.Iâve included a photo of my previous post giving 5 stars. For some reason I had to delete the post so I could post a new review, but for openness I took a screen shot so you could see my previous glowing report about the place. Called again last week and what a difference. The burgers werenât to the standard of previous visits. They didnât seem to have that âhome madeâ feel and taste to them. The rustic hand cut skin-on chips with rosemary had been replaced with standard chips dusted with paprika. They didnât have the variety of bottles of sauce and gave a small pot of sauce instead. Cocktails were good but served in smaller glasses. Iâm not sure if itâs changed hands?Prices had gone up slightly but the quality certainly wasnât there and the food was nowhere near up to their previous standards. All in all really disappointing and such a shame. It was a hidden gem and ideal being so local, but sadly we wonât be going back.Firstly, may we apologize for the fact we didn't meet your expectations on your recent visit.Our cheffs, suppliers of meats and other products has remained the same consistently throughout. The standard seasoning to the Fries has changed (customer feedback) but we have available several different types should a customer have a preference. The glasses are the same glasses so unsure if you were perhaps served in an incorrect glass which we would of course have reconciled on the evening if you would have raised any concerns. Our aim is to serve quality food at competitive prices with service to match. Ham, Turkey, cheese, lettuce. With BaQ sauce. Really good. This was at the Accrington branch. Shop clean, staff tidy and polite.

Called in as we had a place to visit near by.Unfortunately they was awaiting the internet and card machine. Luckily we had some cash. Very pleasant inside as was the landlady.Food prices looked very reasonable.Only had a drink as we didn't have much cash. Will be calling again though for sure..
