A wonderful experience
Reviewed By lamer2000i went two days to bcharre with my friends and we took a chalet in Bauhaus. the owner was very helpful he gave us all informations need it with the area. we visit the cedars of god and valley of quadisha and musuem gibran khalil gibran it was a great experience you fell very relaxed and like you are near of God. the chalet was very clean and comfy and i cant forget the decoration was superb, the heater let you feel like you are in summer everything in Bauhaus was fantastic and the price was very good and satisfied comparing for what you took and we search on many website we didnt find cheapest price better than bauhaus it's simplu best low price and best quality so it was a great experience. i strongly recommend it to visit bcharre and ofcourse stay in Bauhaus

Reviewed By hj Mimmaculately clean, simple room, lovely old-fashioned charm with all the amenities: heat, hot water, fresh sheets and comfortable bed. View from our room was like Switzerland, snow-covered peaks. Even the bathroom was sunlit. And a comfortable bathtub to boot. The hosts--and they were hosts, were charming. One of the best experiences of Lebanon, and i've had many. And at a time when least expected, the country in its worst crises.

I would recommend the hotel to families too as all facilities are available and the location was perfect, and easy to reach although it was snowing

Interesting location but average breakfast
Reviewed By SurreyGirl27Hotel Chbat is a ski hotel in Qadisha valley and is well set up for large groups and multi occupancy rooms. We stayed here as a last minute change of accommodation on a tour and were. I experienced a power cut while in the shower which was awkward as the shower is over a half bath with a steep step so I didn’t dare move, thankfully it was only a couple of minutes. The wifi was free and worked very well on the huge terrace and dining room but not so well in the bedroom. It looks a little shabby but as they were probably closed until the ski season they did their best to accommodate our group and the evening meal was delicious. Sadly breakfast was not good, very very limited in choice, no breads or pastries, no fruit (yet we had 4 different types of fruit at dinner the previous evening), no juice or yoghurt. Jams served with only pitta bread which was not very appetising. Lots of steps down an unmarked staircase to the street and then straight onto the main road which was not ideal

The owner Mr Elie is so nice and makes you feel at home and he offered to upgrade our room free of charge so it was wonderful. The authentic Lebanese dinner and breakfast are delicious.The hotel is very close to the cedars forest and the ski slopes.Everything about the area is lovely.The walk in the morning after a snowy night was superb.We will visit again for sure.

A jewel on the top of Lebanon

The apartments are cost, up to date and equipped with everything you need for an amazing time (tv, internet, kitchen utensils and stove oven and microwave) We stayed in the penthouse Eagle Nest and it was just amazing. 2 fireplaces, 2 rooms and 2 living rooms and a small terrace. The price is out of this world especially when compared to other places around and it's amazing location, two hours drive from Beirut city only to be nestled in the mountains and calmness of the area. We came at a weather where it was last days of the warm part of Autumn so we got sun and a chill in the evening. Can't wait to come back in winter knowing this area and you will be a speck in the snowy mountains right next to the sky slopes and a short distance to the natural reserve. Even if you decide to stay in your room you have a view in every window. And you want to know what tops all of this? The very very hospitable and friendly host and staff, their readiness to answer you and make your stay the most splendid.
