Had dinner with the family. My parents was going to share a pizza, the waitress over heard them talking and when the pizza came it was cut in half on separate plates. Pizzas and salads were very good and the price was good.

A small, family run Pizzeria with flair and good music. Everything lovingly and freshly prepared from 100% certified organic ingredients. We cater for Vegans and Vegetarians as well as offering Salami and Ham Pizzas. Enjoy

We visited this as needed to eat somewhere near out hotel - but glad we did. Whilst it is small, there are seats out the back. Food was excellent - pizzas were very tasty with not too much cheese. Staff were friendly and although not the cheapest food was the best pizza we had and drinks were not expensive.

I was at the restaurant on a Wednesday night. The pizza was tasty and it came fast. The place was well visited although it was in the week. The menu has two pizza sizes listed. I did not say anything about the size and got the bigger one which was too big for me. The waiter did not offer me to wrap the pizza to take home although it was nearly half the pizza I didn't eat. When asking if I could take it home, he was not very happy about it.

We went there on a Sunday. It was the only restaurant opened in the area. Food was delicious (both pizza and pasta). They also have a garden, but you need to reserve it in advance. Outside table was dust on it and they didn't clean it ( they didn't even took the napkin we used to clean the table). In the evening you might receive the food with delays, but it worth to wait.Thank you for taking the time to rate us. We are happy you enjoyed our food and apologize for the shortcomings. In the future we will make sure that such inobservance does not happen again.

We spent an enjoyable evening here on our first day in Salzburg. The restaurant was close to our house, about 8 minutes walk from the historic centre of Salzburg. We were the only tourists in the restaurant which is always a good sign.The food is cooked to perfection, especially the risotto and pasta. Being half Italian I am particularly difficult to please but Osteria Cavalli is as good as any Osteria you will find in Rome. The waiters were all very friendly to the children and we felt welcome.A lovely place to eat Italian food when in Salzburg. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a non touristy restaurant just a stoneâs throw from the city.

Reasonably priced, nice selection. Pizza was delicious as was pasta dish and assorted fish dish. Obviously popular as was very busy and not just with tourists.They only accept Eurocards so make sure you have sufficient cash if, like us, you only have Visa or Mastercards.

It was my second visit to this restaurant and the excellent service and dishes convinced me to write a review. The fish is fresh and dishes are tasty and abundant. The pizza is thin, extra large, and nicely garnished. The prices are fair. It's busy, booking recommended.
