Remote, small wooden cabin in the middle of nowhere. Run by a couple (he chef, she service) who puts clearly their hearts in it.Wonderful food, local and crossover. War mit meiner Frau Ende September hier essen. Wir saÃen auf der kleinen, aber netten Terrasse. Meine bessere Hälfte hatte ein pan. Schnitzel mit besonderen Pommes und ich hatte einen Spanferkel-Rollbraten mit Semmelknödel und Krautsalat. Das Schnitzel war gut und der Braten war absolute Spitze. Nebenbei konnten wir den blick auf den Chiemsee genieÃen. Positiv erwähnen muss ich ebenfalls den jungen Kellner - sehr freundlich. Dieser Pavillon liegt an einem Radweg, er ist eine Empfehlung wert.

This was perhaps THE surprise of our visit to Prien. I took my wife and sister-in-law for dinner to Prien and came across this restaurant purely by chance. It serves basically Greek food but with an international flavour. We chose three different types of main dishes - grilled Turkey steak with tzatziki, lamb fillet, and aubergine salad. We were also served with a great Montepuciano red wine. The total bill per person came to 45 Euros - not bad for such excellent cuisine which by the way was beautifully presented. Oh, and by the way, there was free Wifi as well.

Sehr sehr gutes Essen! Freundliche Bedienung und schneller Service! Das Steak wie auch der Fisch - alles sehr fein!Die Wirtschaft gibt es schon viele Jahre... umso erstaunter war ich, dass sie noch nicht auf Tripadvisor waren... Hier macht man mit einem Besuch definitiv nix verkehrt

We arrived to this restaurant by mistake. We used Trip Advisor guidance to Chimsee Island and it took us to Breitbrunn. There is a ferry there but it does not go to Chiemsee Island. We went into Oberleitner looking for a beer and stayed there for late lunch that was surprisingly good.This is a small modest German Bavarian Traditional restaurant with an Hungarian touch.The food is delicious and service friendly and efficient.We had pumpkin cream soup, surf & turf (steak & shrimps) all were excellent & tasty.The lakeview outside is magnificent.The restaurant has a balcony which is useful in sunny warm days.If you are in the area, don't miss.

Great choice on the menu to suit most tastes. Limited wine list but fantastic Ice Cream menu & everything well presented. Mains are good value and good sized portions.
