Walked by and decided to go in. What a pleasant surprise! The place is really nice, the service was impeccable and the food was near to perfect. Tried the fluÃkrebse with avocado, the ravioli and the panaccota. Everything was delicious. My friends tried the Pasta with calamari and it was also really good. Will come back and definitely recommend.

On our last night at the Pullman in Munich we had no idea where to eat close by. The hotel clerk recommend Trattoria Da Fausto; a delightful restaurant and just a short, pretty walk from the hotel. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional way: Murano style glass light fixtures, greenery, cloth table & napkins. The menu has a good variety of food. We had duck Carpaccio, a mixed salad, a duck stuffed ravioli, tagliatelle, chardonnay and bottled water. The portions were generous, well presented and the food was delicious. The owner even included complimentary Limoncello at the meals end. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert.We were waited on mostly by the owner and his wife. We ended up chatting with them a lot and it turns out they sometimes visit our home city of Montreal. We hope to meet up with them in Montreal the next time they come here. We looked for a restaurant and just around the corner we found a small and empty restaurant. We entered suspiciously, we were very well received by the italian owner. We ate the best truffle risotto and truly Italian-flavored pizzas. The best tiramisu.

This restaurant is very small, serves fabulous food including homemade pasta, is a family-owned and operated business (from Italy) ....and is a hidden gem! Today, four of us stopped here for lunch. We had already selected several restaurants for possible places to dine based on Trip Advisor ratings â and today, this was where we landed! This was one of the tastiest lunches â and funnest lunches â weâve had during our 23 day European trip. All four of us enjoyed the fresh salad with cooked sausage, the great bottle of Nebbiolo wine, and the excellent cappuccinos for dessert. But the best part was how much we enjoyed the owner/manager of this restaurant! He added that extra pizzazz that made this meal memorable! This restaurant is a GEM! Lovely restaurant, beautiful and tasty food. Great service - faultless. We ate here 1 night and were not disappointed. Extensive menu and specials board. Fresh food, good sized portions. Nice interior, if not slightly small. We left happy and would return if ever in Munich.

This authentic Italian restaurant (gracias mille Pia) has great things to offer ... the freshest of ingredients, sensational tastes of Italia, excellent wine selection and of course an Italian at the helm!!. Germans it seems have a fascination with Italian food .... This is YOUR place to come...The menu is not in English but was explained perfectly to us. The real issue is what NOT to choose.. Seriously, octopus, salmon, rabbit, veal, beef.. It is a perfect Italian restaurant, a little out of the city (but 80 m from the Underground).if you are interested...we were delighted by gratis mixed bruscheeta plate, then selected veal carpaccio and char grilled octopus. Mains of rabbit with polenta and saffron seafood ... Neither could be faulted. We finished with of course lemoncello!!! Enjoy.

We visited DinnerHopping while in Munich as a last minute booking on âItalian Nightâ.Everything was great - we booked easily through Facebook and the host Vera was accommodating and friendly.Food was very good and entertainment by Lena was awesome!Great night even with most of the bus speaking German (only us two plus one other couple spoke English)!

Had a wonderful dinner with a friend at Ristorante Risotto! Warm, cozy, friendly and delicious. Was happy to see such a wide array of seasonal specialties with truffle. And the staff is absolutely amazing!!! They made sure that we were happy with everything from the start to end! Nothing can beat the Italian hospitality!
