This was our favorite restaurant in Salzburg! The food, waitstaff and views were amazing! They had a variety of foods (some austrian, and others different types.) The prices were also very reasonable! Definitely recommend visiting here if you're in Salzburg!

We found Lohmayr Stub'n restaurant as âMichelin Bib Gourmandâ tip. It is at old nice building at Piding village. It has really rustically feeling. We stopped there for dinner but restaurant was fully booked so we were lucky to get seat for lunch next day. Restaurant is relatively small and as already mentioned it is designed in a village rustically style which is fine. Service was friendly, fast and professional â they helped us with translation menu to English and give us recommendations. Food was well prepared but some taste combinations were a little bit strange for us â beef steak came accompanied with sweet Thai sauce, octopus was marinated too much in some sweet sauce. But itâs ok when a cook is looking for new combinations and tastes it just wasnât what we expected. But as I already mentioned the food was well done and good quality. Selection of desserts was excellent. Recommended local wine was ok they have good selection of digestives including local grappa or several kinds of cognac for good price. Itâs really interesting place and itâs worth to visit if you are travelling around.

This restaurant has excellent Austrian cuisine, the dishes are just a delight. I love the âKraftsuppe mit Dreierleiâ which contains my favorite soup vegetable, Frittaten and Griesnockerln and Kasspress. The main dishes are just divine and the Topfenknoedel are great you can tell them also how many you want. The service is very friendly and the wine list has a good selection of Austrian wines too. Overall if you want an Austrian top food experience thats the place to go.

This restaurant is attached to the hotel by the same name. The food is good. They do specialize in game type meals, but there are standard options as well. The cucumber salad was delicious and the wine list was extensive. It was a beautiful well cared for location and the customer service was excellent.

Big rooms, big tables, servers dressed in traditional cloth. Special good beer that you can only have in taverns, meaning you cannot find them in retail shops are they are 'freshly made'.Food is typical of the area with a wide choice of meat and some fish. It was fine for one visit.

The restaurant is called quite simply âesszimmerâ (âdining roomâ). Anything more would be superfluous, says star chef Andreas Kaiblinger. After all, the âreal adventure happens in the cooking pot.â
Visiting Salzbury in early January, the restaurant was quite quiet. Dietary and allergy requirements happily accommodated, and expertly handled during the serving. The vegetarian tasting menu was delicious, as was the wine pairing which complemented the dishes beautifully (my waitress even substituting a wine for another Austrian one when Iâd expressed a particular interest in Austrian wines). Commendably, unlike any other fine dining restaurant Iâve visited, their vegetarian tasting menu is cheaper (reflecting the lesser cost of sourced ingredients). Finally, as a whisky fan I was pleased to discover an Austrian whisky on the menu. Whilst Iâm predominantly a Scotch drinker, I was very impressed. Definitely worth a try as an digestive.

Having read the reviews here, I booked this for our last night in Salzburg.I dislike writing negative reviews, especially when they are negative about staff, but I feel like very few of the other reviews covered the full tasting menu and wine matching â¬250+ per person. If we had just had a glass or bottle of wine, steaks and deserts I am sure it would have been a nice.Unfortunately we chose the tasting menu and it was not even close to being worthwhile. To give you context, we (my wife, son and me) eat out 365 days a year all over the world and in the last 10 years have lost track of the Michelin meals we have had, somewhere between 1000 and 2000.The young man serving as our waiter seemed nice enough, but unfortunately was woefully undertrained - even for a casual dinner. When he poured the first glass of red wine for my wife he splashed it all over the table and us, as he had finished the bottle. No apology or any acknowledgement he just walked off. We thought he went to find another bottle to finish pouring the glass which was way under and something for us to wipe off the drops of wine, but no.Not once across the wine pairing did he manage to pour without dripping on the table and down the side of the glass. When the Pinot was oxidized, he just walked off with my glass and didnât return. Then the food. Each course was nice, nothing special, but nice. Nothing stood out at all unfortunately - pretty much every course was a piece of fish or meat, small vegetable pieces, some gel and a sauce poured on the side of it at the table - after two of them we were bored, but the same thing just kept coming. Balance in the dishes was hit and miss - many of them being too creamy/rich, without any acidic balance. There are Michelin and near-Michelin restaurants all over the world at much better prices for much better food.(I thought about writing to management, but experience says nothing will be done at all, so would rather just warn you and if people start leaving honest reviews, then management will have to start listening).Dear family!Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you didn't have a satisfying experience in our venue.May we ensure you, that we take written and spoken feedback very seriously and listen carefully. To be honest your criticism took us by surprise. We will of course discuss this internally as we are continuously working on our finest service- and cooking-level.We hope to get the chance to greet you again some time and convince you with our proven performance.Yours sincerelySamantha Teufel

The restaurant at the Hotel Grunauerhof is open for three meals which is convenient for travelers. Many buses stop here but the hotel easily accommodates these groups and guests never feel crowded and can easily order a delicious meal prepared with fresh fruits and vegetables from their gardens.

Enjoy baroque flair in an original palace from the 18th century. Your evening at Cuisino should start with an relaxing dinner. We will be serving fine compositions of domestic and international cuisine. The Dinner & Casino voucher provides enjoyment at it
We visited here during a trip to Salzburg. We wanted high end cuisine for a special occasion, and an attractive venue. This location ticked these boxes. The restaurant and casino are located in Schloss Klessheim, a grand manor house and attractive gardens. We were there for the surroundings and restaurant, not the gambling, but you can do this too.We were seated in a comfortable corner table in the attractive dining room. We started with some good champagne and amuse bouche of smoked ham. For starters we had the duck comsomme and fish carpaccio, both excellent and well presented, excepting a slight liquid spill (not cleaned up) from the soup plate - a minor complaint, but not what is expected in a venue like this. For mains we had the steak and duck dishes. The duck was excellent and served with calvados sauce and apples. The steak was good although slightly overcooked, as it came out medium, not med-rare as requested.Desserts of coffee parfait and hazelnut were very good although placed on the table without explanation as to what they consisted of. Again, a minor complaint, but not what is expected here. The wine list is good and extensive. We had a bottle of St Emillion. We would return, the servers are friendly and pleasant. Recommend.Dear Andrew, thank you for the feedback and your rating. We really appreciate your qualitative feedback as it gives us the chance to improve. We hope to welcome you again soon at Cuisino Salzburg.Best, Team Casino/Cuisino
