Very lovely stay at Mikelis
Reviewed By KatrinaRSEBeautiful place, cozy rooms, incredible food at the restaurant. Very quiet. The staff was very welcoming. It was amazing to stay at Mikelis in winter. It's close to Bauska and Rundalāles palace, great addition to the trip.

Not the first choice
Reviewed By ilzekudWe travelled with a family,but I would suggest this place for a couple. Restaurant is good, a hotel itself is well designed,rooms are clean. Old mill excursion is interesting. Staff tries to be polite,but when you ask for something,they seem to get nervous. Breakfast offer is very poor. Tea was not available. Water was terrible - I can accept smelling water in the bathroom, but it is totally not acceptable on the breakfast table for drinking (even with a lemon :) ).

Basic but good
Reviewed By RickcsA dated building that could never realistically be raised to any top level. However, investment and effort deserve custom and understanding. I found a very basic somewhat worn room, but clean and well kept. Service was charming and speedy with a lovely evening meal.

Reviewed By 363gretaaWe came there very tired. The service changed the room and made the best rest time for us. We had amazing room with balcony and beautiful view to river. The room where clean adn beautiful, we got a good night sleep there. I will visit Bauska and Hotel Viona another time.

Late breakfest on the way to Riga
Reviewed By 788aivarskCame exatly on opening time at 12.00. Idea was to have quick meal before going to Riga. Chosen English breafest and pancakes was exatly the taste that my parents served when I was a boy! Very good ! Silent place, good service, only premises looks little bit old fassion , latest renovation was probably at the end of previous century...but everuthing was clean- thanks for good people working there. Could be offered for couples to stay for one day visiting nice places around ( Rundale and Bauska castles, Mezotne manor and Bauska old town).

Nice accomodation
Reviewed By bellini14We had kind of a flat with two rooms and a bathroom to ourselves. Everything was clean. We got towels, however there are no curtains on the windows. The accomodation is situated outside of bauska, so you really need a car to get there.
