Restaurant Briyani Gam

The food is so so for me coz I've tasted better briyani gam.The workers are unfriendly as my nephew is throwing tantrums , crying on his seats , not disturbing others. The workers are making faces as if he is pushing away the customers. Seriously, if u could not tolerate young customers , you might as well put no children is allowed. Kapish!

The captain who took our order was really informative and recommended some suitable dishes for our group of very young to the very old (4 to 82 years old). Especially recommended is the braised longevity noodles and the treasure pot. Their trademark tofu was also delicious and special. Even though they were very busy that night (3 wedding dinner reception, we were informed of the correct time to expect the food and it was worth the wait.
Highly recommended for good Chinese food

Two years ago, visited tis place b'cos my Batu Pahat BFF proudly wanted us to try so famous in BP. With delight we went on Sunday. And I was so shocked the coffeeshop small but was overcrowded with the locals packed like sardines table to table I couldn't believed my eyes.
We were so blessed got a table squeezed with the weekend crowds quickly ordered and despite the overwhelming crowd the service was fast with efficient staffs scrambling al over like a fast food joint.
And last Monday August 21 we came back for the second, thinking maybe on a weekday especially Monday. But I was wronged. The crowd was just as bad and we managed to get a table outside al fresco. I was more than happy and we ordered same good old their signature famous sliced otah and fluffy omelette and a dash of chilly sauce sandwiched with bread slightly grilled with margarine. It's still delicious as two years ago just like the patronising crowd a testimony of a good food people will still come back be it crowded or not. Likewise you love the food you have to love the crowd then you'll enjoy the food better. I ordered teh tarik but it doesn't meet up to my expectation. Unlike the sarabat stall teh tarik nowadays upgraded to mamak kopitiam more tarik and "lagi syiok". If I come back again to visit my BP BFF - I won't missed it die die must eat.

Batu Pahat has a strong and historical coffee culture. Once upon a time coffee was the main export of Batu Pahat. The tradition carries on. The people of Batu Pahat take their cofffee seriously.
It is therefore apt that a mechanised brewed coffee chain is founded here in Batu Pahat.
If you are in town and craving for your expresso fix, this is the place.
The affonatto is highly recommended.

My 8th visit in five years and saw prices to have gone up a little, standard drops a little, so important to dine in before things get worst. The portion is quite large - especially for those who are on their rounds of eating many other things. It is best controlled by reducing per-head count - a group of 4 may just order 2-person portion instead of 4. After all, as the saying goes, why sees only a tree when there is a forest out there...

We had Cendol Kacang and Cendol Pulut. The cendol is thin stripes, taste heavenly with gula melaka. It has coconut milk added so you can see white oil-like thingy floating on top. Pulut is a bit crunchy, not sure if it is finishing or it was not fully cooked. Cendol kacang taste just great.

The foods here is so tasty.
There is two things that i dont like.
Service and price.
The service is too slowwwwwwwwwww and the price is expensive considering the menu is asam pedas and some other cheap stuff like nugget. but u sell 4 pieces nugget at rm6? really? Mc Donalds have better nugget at RM3.20 only.
But the other foods like nasi lemak sotong king and the grilled lamb/chicken is so awesome.
BUT ITS TOO SLOW SERVICE. i have went there once in september at 12.30 pm and i get the food at 2pm. im crying there because it is too slow despite nobody go there.
I will never recommend this place to anyone. Except if u make a booking first.

Restoran Bariani Power

This is my first time coming to this restaurant. At first, my family and I lost our way to the restaurant, we asked some help from the locals there to get to the place. Soon we got to the place, there were a few empty parking lots, we parked our car there.
The place is normally crowded during the lunch hour. It will be hard to find a place to sit. Lucky, a family just finish eating and went off. We sat at the table and ordered our food.
The food serve fast. I ordered Nasi bryani ayam merah and pink air Bandung . The food taste normal only and nothing really special. The restaurant service was okay only.
The portion of the rice is small. I don't think this restaurant is value for money.

This is our first visit to Batu Pahat. We happen to find this great Japanese Restaurant, located at Jalan Jenang and nearby Jalan Pengkai. It look quiet from the outside although it is so crowded inside. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice and cosy.
The sushi we ordered taste very good. The salmon was juicier in comparison to the others Japanese restaurant in JB .... This is really very very good!! Definitely on par or even better when compare to Sakae Sushi in Singapore.
The staff is very helpful too. Even the restaurant was full and busy, but still the service was very attentive. She even explain to us the sushi that we ordered, is from which part of the salmon.
Kudos on that.
The meal was very full, and worth the money. I would definitely come back again.
Really not expected in a place called Batu Pahat, and you can still find a really good Japanese Restaurant. Totally unexpected!!
