A store which offers refreshment to weary travellers and teaches people to have good values of course would be a good place to visit anytime. Owner was present at the store when we visited so although they dont outright check on what you get and pay to a cashier it just lost its amgic for me!

Their specialty is pancit (stir fried noodles) and it was very good. Their freshly cooked pancit batil patung, which is an original delicacy of Tuguegarao City, was seasoned to my liking so I enjoyed it. They just have tables and chairs and that's it so don't expect a sophisticated ambiance. We also tried their lomi (noodle soup) and it also tasted yummy. The price is affordable and the serving is quite generous so it could even be good for sharing if you are not that hungry. They have a menu but most of the items their are not available but they said that their pancit is always available as it is their specialty. They also serve local dishes with rice and it is also affordable at about 75 pesos per serving.

It was our first day in basco and we were ealking around town and found this restaurant near our hotel.
Lovely outdoor but under cover casual dining with a very friendly and helpful server.
My wife had a SalmonSinagang Soup but I was eating very little due to some stomach problems.

i had lunch there with my girlfiend...to be hones a really late lunch. Pizza was simple and just good.....i would not define it as an excellent pizza but for being so faraway in the middle of the ocean...its simply a good pizza. the only thing i was disapointed was the choice of pasta - basically zero.
anyway in case i'll go again to batanes i would go there again for a pizza.

We dined here on our first night as part of Bisumi's full board package tour in Batanes.
Despite paying a premium to Bisumi we received a very cheap average quality meal. We cancelled our full board option with Bisumi after this as it proved to be very poor value. We paid substantially more but Bisumi only allocated 300P per head for dinner.
We received sinagang soup and rice, fried fish pieces and a small desert.
All the same the meal was nothing special.

Farm to table goodness at Café du Tukon: Most of the vegetables, beef and pork we serve are locally produced and organically raised by farmers of Sitio Tukon and from our own backyard! Our seafoods are freshly-caught and sourced from local fishermen. We also make our own jams and bread.

The location is indeed great. Overlooking the vast fields and hills of Batanes, with an awesome view of the mountain, its like you are having lunch in heaven. The ambiance, design and service was good, too.
Food is a little bit pricey but so is the rest of Batanes.

on our way to basco lighthouse, our gastric juices were already erupting and jino's pizza was just around the corner to address our hunger pains. for an oven hot, homemade 12" pizza in an isolated island, Php 380 is a bargain. and it went perfectly when paired with the lomi we simultaneously ordered in a separate eatery. that afternoon snack was taken quite late, it also became our dinner.
jino's is thriving mainly because it has no competition. but if ever there is, try their competitor's pizza to taste the difference.
