Three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and toilet, equipped with a large bed for two persons, in a great house just in front of Barra de Guaratiba's bay. Little swimming pool, tree terraces with sea view. The price includes breakfast.
Friendly and helpful
Reviewed By Jane WThe Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and Laurent was helpful, informative and very friendly. We only had one day in the area but managed to do everything we planned and more thanks to a friend of his who drove us around in his car and waited for us for a very reasonable price. The view is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the tropical storm over the sea and us immensely, even though it did knock out the electricity for a while!

Reviewed By Magdalena RIt is one of the most awesome hostels i have stayed in so far. First of all the owner Marc is the nicest guy ever. He is super friendly, fun to talk to, very forthcoming, also speaks english and such a chilled host. He made sure that we enjoyed the stay as much as we could and made everything very comfortable for the three of us. He even invited us for dinner - and as far as i can tell he is a pretty good chef! The whole crew around Marc is very lovely aswell. They are fun to be around and help whereever they can. The hostel itself is soo pretty. It is located on the bottom of a mountain with the nicest view over the bay. Best part: There is a pool! The village itself is very very safe we never felt uncomfortable and the atmosphere was great. All in all i really want to come back to this place and especially to the banana leaf eco hostel. Great people, great place and great food!!!
