We had take-away pizza for our large group and everyone loved it! Went into the restaurant with the group for a nice meal out in Balti and was pleasantly surprised by the decor, friendly service, and great food. Pizza is always great. I had grilled chicken with fries and was pleased with the flavor. Andy's is a great get-away for good food in Moldova!

The menu is divers enough for most foreigners. The soups, and salads are my favorite choices. However, there are a large assortment of pizzas, and main courses. There is a place for children to play both inside and outside. There is a good assortment of coffee and tea as well as Deserts.
The wait staff are good and friendly.
Sometimes it is a little noise but not unbearable. They claim to have wifi but it is so slow that it is unusable.
If you are a foreigner and visit Balti you will enjoy Andy's.

The menu is very similar to Gastrobar in Chisinau, which is a good thing. Very attentive and polite service. Grilled salmon was delicious.

Fast, clean, cheerful service. Food disappointing. What they serve is not, if you've ever had a real kabob, a real kabob. It is doner in flat bread, not pita, as it should be. That said, every kabob place in Balti is exactly the same so,...MoreLisa, thank you for your review. Every opinion is very important for us. Next time you can try our Pocket - it is made from pita ;)

Everyone we asked about Amurg said the ame thing to us. "Go". So we did. That's an hour and a couple of hudred lei we'll never get back. There was a raging wedding celebration in full party mode and everyone in the event space was having, what looked to be, a fabulous time.
We were seated in a private dining room, this is how you dine at Amurg if you are not an invitee to a special occasion. Nice. But, a little claustrophobic. We were given menus upon being seated and then left to our own devices. Given a chance to order a bottle of wine or a cocktail would have done wonders for the indifferent service. Server appears! Order given. Ten minutes later, server reappears. No, and no. New choices provided. Nope. No. Can. Do. We could have anything we wanted as long as it was the battered pork. Disappointed. But, our guess is, this was what the wedding guests had been served and th kitchen didn't want to be bothered with what their individual guests preferred for dinner.
The food, and service, were underwhelming. Everyone, who had recommended Amur, seemed surprised. Until one said, oh, we ordered in advance. Who does that? Patrons of Amurg, we guess.
We will not be returning. There are too many good, reliable restaurants in Balti where we are served what we order. Too bad.

A cozy dining room reminiscent of a grotto or ancient ruins sets the stage for very good local cuisine. As most restaurants in Moldova the service is slow, but you can take that either as a good thing or not. Bad, if you're rushed, good if you wish to take your time and enjoy the meal prepared for you. We enjoyed the business lunch and thought it a fantastic value.

I have visited this place about 4 or 5 times now and make an overall impression about it.
Pros:
Good food, especially I would recommend rabbit in cream sauce
They have dance parties inside over the weekend
Cons:
Service is ridiculous! You either wait for your meal for about 2 hours or they would bring you first the dessert and then the main which proofs they have no idea about all the service rules!
I think it's a good place if you just go out for a drink, having a meal here might spoil your day..
