This is like a factory canteen where you have plenty of tables and huge space for the customers.Restaurant and market are all together at the same place.Their speciality is the traditional meat balls which are very good quality and tasty.Price range is also very attractive for this kind of meal.Here you can also purchase any kind of meat,cheese,olive and olive oil.Highly recommended.

I run a small hotel in Assos and often go out for shopping to Akcay, Zeytin is my favorite stop. The tempting thing is that all dishes are out on a hot buffet in earthenware pots, you can see them all out there instead of ordering from a menu which is much more appetizing of course. You can either choose two or so out of many many or can also get a mixed plate which in Turkish we call 'Asci Tabagi'. Everything is cooked in olive oil, extracted from the local olives. The owners are ex-olive oil producers themselves so they have the top quality olive oil. Even at times I just pass by to say Hi and I've no hunger I find myself at least having a cup of chicken soup.
They've been on national tv channels on some food documentaries; meaning they became popular but I thank them for staying the way they always were. They didn't become fancy nancy but kept their own character&taste which is very valuable from my point of view. I know some places who loose their originality with fusion or other experimental food trials because it's trendy. This place is always the authentic, local spot with genuine Aeagean&Turkish tastes.
I thank them and always send my guests, friends, family members there with confidence. I wish they stay so...

This restaurant is now serving as a self service section with the ready food served on open buffet and open kitchen style and another part as a patisserie with available very good and fresh baked snacks and drinks at the other part of the complex.Just in the middle,there is now an open style of shop where you can buy a lot of different products like olive,olive oil,jam
chocolate,chestnut and other sweets as gift.Basement is lavatory,mosque wc and rest area.Vey much recommended.

Akşam yemeğine gitmiştik.Bir kere yemeklerin eski lezzeti kalmamış.Bir yemekten yarım porsiyon istedik.Ahçı öyle yarım filan veremeyiz dedi.Garsonlarda da eski kalite yok.İşlerinden bıkmışlar da zoraki yapıyorlar gibi.Kaba davranıyorlar.Pişman olduk.

I've been there while traveling for a day trip to Bandirma and even it is not as popular as Susurluk and its toast, it serves one of the greatest meat and kokorec I ate during road trip. It is a standard restaurant, so nothing too fancy but you'll amazed by the quality of the food and the price you'll be paying.
