This place looks magnificent and if we had more time, it would have been great to hang out by the pool for the arvo but we just had lunch at Jungle Fish. We ordered a few things to share and drinks. Food arrived first and we had to ask where the drinks where. Food was great except for the Thai green papaya salad. It was inedible! It was so covered in shrimp paste, it was like someone had totally got the proportions wrong and it was awful. When the waiter asked if it was ok, I told him no but we were still charged for it. Not great customer service Good afternoon, We would like to thank you for your review! We would like to present you with our appologies if your culinary experience didnt meet your expectations. Given that delivering excellent service to all of our beloved guests is our utmost goal; I have personally addressed your concern with the Food & Beverage team. I would like to outline that once the staff came to your table to check your satisfaction regarding the Thai Papaya Salad and you mentioned your dissatisfaction, you were, on the spot, offered for it to be replaced but you insisted to eat it and didn't wish for it to be changed. Went along tonight swayed by glowing reviews on TA. Seated in quite lovely surroundings, albeit a little stiff and contrived to what would normally suit us. Given menus promptly and our ordered bottle of sparkling water. Considered our options, keen to order cocktails, but no service for such a long time that we reconsidered cocktails and settled on a bottle of wine, but again, no service- waited, waited, looked longingly - then called it quits, which is hard to do when you feel compelled to order and are keen to do so, but honestly how long do you wait before you say “enough is enough”. Make a reservation ASAP. Private Cocoons fill up fast. Had the 9 course menu and every bite was exquisite. What I loved was that they let my 12 yo son order ala carte while my wife and I enjoyed the 9 course fixed dinner. Here in the States they will not allow and everyone at table must do the fixed price menu. Such a bargain at $80 each. We stayed 5 nights at this resort and found the buffet to be superior to Padma Legian where we had just been. The breads and pastries were much fresher than our previous Padma experience and overall we were all happy. Great for children and fanciers of fried food with plenty of healthier options. Staff were friendly and obliging we tried one of their themed dinners but think you are better served sticking in a La carte especially if traveling with children. Afternoon tea (included) was a hit and would suffice as lunch if you did not have children with you. Our only bad experience was on last night 2 of our party had Indonesian and woke in night with the dreaded Bali belly not ideal when you have a 2 hour trip to airport and then 5+ hours on a plane. Luckily we had stocked up on gastro stop so did manage it all with only one emergency stop on way to airport. The kids and husband in this party were all fine the whole time at both Padma's and the only thing I can observe is they chose more of the fried food and less of the vegetable/salad options probably the way to go in Bali.Dear marilynino,Thank you for dining with us recently. We are glad to know that overall you were happy with our restaurant.I'm sorry to hear that one of your party was not unwell. We noticed that your party were having some Indonesian dishes (Ayam sambal matah, sambal udang and bebek betutu), probably the dish is too spicy for her. My boyfriend and I read about this restaurant online and decided to go here for dinner one of our evenings in Ubud. The view is pretty amazing, looking over the jungle. The service was great, they were very polite and professional. I think the cost was a little on the expensive side for what we got but that's the only thing. Food was pretty great, it gets chilly at night. We went at sunset.I definitely recommend dining here one evening if you get the chance!

We only had breakfast, so I can't comment on the whole menu, but what we had, we really enjoyed, both food and drinks. The cocktails are very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Clean bathrooms. Wish they opened a bit earlier than 11am, which is my only reservation in not giving it 5 stars. We have eaten in many restaurants around the world with Michelin stars including 6 which have/had at the time 3 stars and Aperitif was definitely up there as a dining experience. The degustation menu offers diners the chance to enjoy several flavours from the kitchen and each course is presented brilliantly. We stayed at the Kayon Jungle resort for our honey moon and ate at the kepitu restaurant every day. Breakfast each morning was outstanding- the service, the food, the atmosphere. I couldn’t fault one thing and there was pages of different meals we could order. We also booked the buffet dinner which was A+, such a variety of food and again the service was impeccable. We had arranged a romantic candlelight dinner to celebrate our honeymoon and again everything was better then we could of imagined. The captain of the restaurant was also one of the kindest people we have met. He certainly knows customer service and gifted us a pair of bamboo straws on our last morning. If you are in Ubud it is a must you eat at the kepitu restaurant, couldn’t recommend this please more. Thank you kepitu restaurant and kayon jungle resort

We arrived at 5pm and someone invited me to see the waterfall and that was beuatiful ambience.We enyoyed all of our meals, we had a pork ribs and crispy duck. The taste was very good many flavours and nice pretentation. All the staff were friendly, special mention to donita who very kind and helpful.
