Fantastic menu, prices are moderate and staff is quick and very friendly. Iâve been here with business partners and had a good time. Location is a bit hidden but once youâve been here, you will come back again. Burgers, salads, special vegan dishes, homemade lemonade. Just a great bistro.

Kurfuerstenstube is a very comfortable, impressively styled restaurant, with a quiet, elegant ambiance, scrupulously attentive and cheerful staff, and solicitous accommodation to one's dietary quirks -- gluten-free in my case. Its dishes were beautifully composed and presented, without a trace of urgency that one should consume them. But for all that, and the evident concern to measure up to the standards of haute cuisine, I was disappointed in the main event; what looked beautiful tasted no better than good. Nine Euros for a bottle of sparkling water, six for .125 liter of local red wine, 3.8 for a single expresso? In a place like this, I always go for a cheese plate; not a one of the eight small offerings on the cart came from Germany -- all were French and I would guess commercial; and even the strongest (apart from a Roquefort) was both firm and pallid on the tongue.

Restaurant des Hotels Neu Heidelberg mit gemütlich rustikaler Einrichtung. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Küche ist deutsch geprägt und die Speisenauswahl beinhaltet u.a. auch Gerichte entsprechend der Jahreszeit mit wechselndem Angebot. Das zarte Rumpsteak vom Black-Angus Rind war perfekt rare gebraten und wird mit Pommes Frites und Kräuterbutter, oder Pfeffer-Cognac-Sauce und Kartoffelrösti angeboten. Die Rinderstreifen âStroganoffâ in Dijon-Senf-Sauce mit Butternudeln und Mandelbrokkoli waren ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

The food was mediocre, steak was extremely well done, although we explicitly asked for medium. Schnitzel had a greasy and bad tasting sauce. The place was understaffed, so we had to wait a lot for a stressed and chaotic waiter. The place might deserve a visit to taste their beer, but definitely not their food.

Cafe Rossi has a lot to offer what you find across Europe. I miss something that is special. The waitresses and waiters are friendly, food and drinks of good quality and the location is central. It could be anywhere else in Europe und it would fit there as well

We wanted somewhere 'ordinary' in the best sense, took a Number 5 tram from the centre and weren't the least disappointed. In fact, this was one of the nicest meals of our ten-day holiday. Succulent steak for me, tasty chicken noodles for my wife, with superb side-salads. German spirits to end with. All served by an enthusiastic and helpful waiter who seemed absolutely delighted to welcome two English visitors. We walked back to the centre along quiet streets.

We went here for dinner and Adnan took care of us at the bar. His drinks were excellent along with his service and attentiveness to our wishes. The sushi was fantastic with a special twist to it. Of course, being rooftop the view was fantastic. If in Heidelberg, you should not miss this!
