Friends recommended this restaurant to us and I have to say it is really a great experience! The ambience is very welcoming and comfortable - I especially like lighting.We actually went twice in a week because we wanted to try so many dishes! We had the Fish Menu, the Vegan Menu, the Bodensee Fish and different meats. The creations look, smell and taste delicious! My favorite was the Octopus with Chorizo, Kale and Sweet Potatoes!Donât skip the desserts! Cocoa-Avocado with Coconut Ice Cream! Chocolate Lava Cake! Both so yummy!The service was just great. Very helpful and friendly! Thank you :-) Also it seems to be very important to them, with what products they work with. A lot is from the region, including the wine. And everything is bio!Definitely worth at least one visit!

Lovely meal at this very friendly and welcoming restaurant. The owner was lovely and very helpful. No problems serving a gluten free meal for my husband which was tasty and delicious and homemade by the owners wife....The food was all homemade and very well priced...great advice given on best wine to choose also.I would recommend pre booking as this restaurant is very popular and busy, although we did manage to get a table within 15 mins but in the summer I don't think that would be possible.Delightful and helpful owner who was happy to speak English to us as well....we will definitely return here when in Lindau again.

The Römerhof is located in the old part of Arbon town and the restaurant is simply but nicely decorated with clean, white rooms. The menu offers a selection of dishes including food reflecting the chefâs Mauritius heritage. All of the dishes were exquisitely presented; it was almost a shame to eat them. The food was also of very good quality.The reason I didnât award five stars is that the prices are quite high and somehow all of us felt that despite the quality of the food, it was too much to spend for a dinner. This is not to fault the service nor the cook â both were very friendly â but the total dining experience fell somewhat short of our expectations, considering the prices.Dear GuestThank you for your feedback about your recent visit at our restaurant. Wir waren letzten Dienstag zum zweiten mal in diesem Restaurant. War wieder super leckeres Essen und Ambiente. Super freundliches Personal. Habe den Schwäbischen Zwiebelrostbraten und meine Frau den Zander gegessen. Beide Gerichte Top und ihren Preis wert. Kommen immer wieder gerne.

... on Good Friday there were five of us in the Meersalz. The service was charming and courteous. We ordered two 6-course menus and one 5-course menu, otherwise three courses a la carte each. Wine recommendation was excellent, both the white wine (Veltliner) and the Margaux Favarel. So there is absolutely nothing to complain about. If it had not been for a small thing... When paying the bill, at least 430⬠with tip, I could not resist to ask for the "free farewell drink" of the house. That was taken up by our charming service employee and immediately communicated to the management. She was sent back with the statement, "something like this is not taken into account by us", which was obviously a shame for her. Actually really a pity, because it would have been a small gesture for three, two had to drive anyway and hadn't drunk anything the whole time, so also no real effort. The team in service and kitchen did a huge job, thanks for a nice experience. Management, just think about it ;-) That is only a four star rating.

Die Schweinebäckchen sind wirklich sehr lecker, danke an die Bewerter vor uns. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, bzgl der Beilagen war man flexibel, die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles perfekt
