This family restaurant is in the outer skirts of Stuttgart, but still within 15 minutes of the airport or downtown. Well worth a visit. True, fresh Italian food with daily specials presented by the charming and friendly owner. He has an amazing selection of wines, so do let him make a recommendation. We had a delicious meal and beautiful wine, all for a very reasonable price. Family trip to Christmas markets brought us to stay at Hotel Flora (very nice)-just down the road is this place- what a find! Lamb Stefado was brilliant - best I've tasted in years. mixed platter was also good. Mousaka 'was nice...lovely'(quote), meatballs came out (lost in translation) as a steak stuffed with cheese which was received with less gusto!All in all a cracking place. Bravo.

Quite simply one of the very best meals that I have eaten.Visited with colleagues Oct 2016.The decor is fine but the food tells the story here!Following a simple bruschetta starter, I chose spaghetti alla mare - this was after seeing the octopus sitting in the fridge near to the entrance - I was astounded at the taste of the spaghetti, al the seafood flavours had permeated the pasta - I have never tasted any pasta so good previously (I eat a lot of pasta!).There is a wide range of drinks to be had here, I can vouch for the Pilsner and the Lugano wine.Truly excellent evening.

I say the best restaurant in town specially near the messe very good service and also the food is perfect.The other thing is you feel at home.They can make the food as your taste if you want and they recommend the food and also the wine . I would definitely go there again
