From the outside the restaurant does not look incredibly inviting. However the interior does not look like much either. Why go here? Go for the food and the friendly down to earth honest service. This restaurant has a heart and a soul. A good menu everything is cooked from scratch. The staff is extremely well trained. Personal wishes are fulfilled. This time I enjoyed the wild garlic (Bärlauch) maultaschen. Delicious and well made. he wild garlic soup was good perphas a little less salt for my tasting but all together this was really good. This restaurant is a must for gourmet travellers to the Black Forest. By now the third chef of the owner family has owned a Michelin star with this restaurant - and it is completely deserved. We had a couple of dinners at good restaurants on our trip through the Black Forest, but the âRinderbackenâ were amazing. We will definitely come back here again.

Extremely slow. 20 min you just sit. 15 min you wait for a drink, after 50 min you get a salad... You need to schedule 3 hours for the "restaurant".
