Ate here in June with a larger group. Schwabisch Hall is an absolutely charming city and the Goldener Adler adds to the charm. The hotel/restaurant is located right on the market square adjacent to the open air theatre/church. They provide outdoor seating as well as elegant casual indoor dining. The service is exceptional and the food is amazingly great! We enjoyed the pork with mushroom sauce and although it was a large portion, I was able to eat most of it. It paired well with the Mohrenkopfle beer only available in this region brewed by Haller Lowenbrau! I cannot speak for the hotel accommodations as I did not stay here; however, the bathrooms are large and very clean.

Try the Steak Menu which is now served daily. It is not really cheap but quality justifies the price of 39 Euro per person. No drinks included.

One thing to know about Crailsheim is that very few restaurants open on Mondays. Our group walked for a while looking to find somewhere that would be open and stumbled into Acanto. We were very pleasantly surprised! Sat on the patio, which is quite large. I ordered, strange choice in germany, but they had this curry salmon stew and it was really really great. Delicious preparation. I recall everyone enjoyed their food, but I was particularly impressed, I've just never had anything like that. I recall prices were a little higher than other places we went but still fairly reasonable. Great service, we really liked our waiter.

Sind nach einer Wanderung dort auf ein Bier und Eis eingebogen.Der Biergarten ist sehr schön.Kennen den Hirschgarten seit Jahren.Durch die neuen Pächter kommt auch "JUNGER" Wind in die Sache.Wir wurden schnell und sehr höflich und zuvorkommend behandelt!Meine Partnerin hat noch einen Erdbeerbecher verdrückt der ebenfalls sehr schön dekoriert war.´und ebenfalls rasch an den Tisch kam.Das bestellte Radler kam schnell auch die Nachfrage auf ein Weiteres war selbstverständlich.Ich denke wir werden auf jeden Fall öfter hingehen und dann auch die SpeiÃekarte ausprobieren.Macht nen stimmigen Eindruck auf mich.Die Location selbst ist für nen Biergarten sehr schön.Kinder können Schaukeln und sind meiner Meinung auch gut aufgehoben dort.

When in Schwabisch Hall, do yourself a favor and take a short walk over the bridge and stop in at this brewery restaurant. Food was great, service good, and beer was wonderful. You can sip your beer and drink in the atmosphere of this great old beer hall in this picturesque town!

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant with some colleagues from work. What a treat is was! The views of the valley and lake below are spectacular. We sat outside of course and enjoyed the view as well as the food. I had fish and I recommend you tell them to remove the head and the skin beforehand. I didn't expect that and for me that is a real turn off. Once they brought it back cleaned I enjoyed it a lot.

My meal at this restaurant was excellent in every way. Menus in English or German. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent food, superbly presented. I had the 65 Euro 3 course menu - worth every pfennig.The mens' washroom was clean as an operating room and featured cotton hand towels.

We had our first night meal here and were treated to the best food of the area. The food was washed down with excellent Beer and wine served in a really traditional atmosphere. Afurther visit during the day for lunch was equally rewarding.Do not miss this great restaurant.

This was our second visit to Entenback and hopefully won't be our last. We were served, as before, by the owner/manager who's English is excellent and he even understands our sense of humour. I had a dish translated as three various steaks. They were beef, veal and lamb. All were perfectly cooked and amongst the most tender pieces of meat I have ever had. The local white wine he recommended was also excellent
