I always look forward to a visit to KKs on my Bad Tatzmannsdorf visits, they a have a great range of cakes and chocolates, the chocolate mousse cake is the best anywhere.

While staying at the Kur and Thermenhotel in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, because of the poor service we experienced during breakfast, we decided to have dinner outside the hotel. A little TripAdvisor research brought us to this restaurant, mainly because the chef had worked in hotels all over the world, as well as the fact that they have their own winery in one of our favourite wine areas in Austria: Mittel Burgenland with its robust red wines.
We opted for their 5 course menu and were not disappointed. Every course was prepared with care and was served with a smile and pride. The chef came more than once to explain the particulars of the dish. We ended up talking about food and wine together and left after a long evening, but not before we visited the wine cellar and bought some of his delicious wine as well as a bottle of the "Hazelnut Schnapps" On top, we got a free bottle of one of the other wines.
Overall a night to remember. If you're in the area, check it out.

Wir waren mit unseren Freunden dort auf ein Gläschen Wein.
Eine so freundliche Begrüssung, durch die Wirtin, bekommt man selten. Und das beste ist, die Begrüssung ist nicht gekünstelt.
Tip: die Victoria-Schnitte, eine Cremeschnitte, die zu den besten zählt, die ich je gegessen habe.

da wir schon jahrelang hierherkommen ,nicht nur um zu nächtigen,
sondern auch um essen zu gehen,auch wenn wir mal nur unterwegs sind und vorbei
fahren.
das essen ist wirklich gut und es sind große portionen.
es gibt immer 3 menues mittags oder auch a la card.
auch abends gibt es für menue für hotelgäste,oder auch aus der karte.
der herr der küche ist ein ganz netter,super koch.
die bedienung ist auch immer nett ,entweder von der chefin selbst
vater,mutter oder angestellte.
kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.
nächster aufenthalt schon fixiert.

We visit this Konditorei most days when we're staying in Bad Tatzmansdorf. Its a must do on a sunny afternoon following a morning wallowing in the hot pools of Avita, a short walk, choice from a really good range of cakes and ice creams washed down by a glass of prosecco. Just what you need to set you up for the rest of the afternoon spend bubbling you day away in the hot pools.

Gepflegtes Restaurant. Nettes Service. Als Aperitiv hatten wir die regionale Spezialität : Uhudlerfrizzante wunderbarer Duft und Geschmack. Die Leberknödelsuppe durchschnittlich, das Suppengemüse hätte eine Spur weicher sein können. Die Leberknödl selbst (2Stück) waren gut. Als Hauptspeisen hatten wir das Tagesgericht ( Ripperl sehr gut), einen Burger, eine Piccata und einen gebratenen Zander. Alle Gerichte waren gut und nett angerichtet. Die verkosteten Schankweine (CS/GM) waren ordentlich. Eine Enttäuschung war die Uhudlergrappa: Kaum eine ausgeprägte Duftnote, scharf.
Insgesamt aber ein gelungenes Essen.
