Reviewed By beckypdocClean rooms. Friendly staff. We were in a brand new section. The bed was clean and comfy. The bathroom was great - just a shower, no bath, but v powerful. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Good choices for breakfast including the selection of tea! Interesting spa town with 300yr Graduation Towers or Gradierwerk for salt production set in a peaceful park to wander through. Find the tourist info office and ask for the English information booklet.

Reviewed By mjcmoppelMy wife, my wife's mother and I have stayed here two times. Once in August 2011 and recently in June 2014. The hotel and its self catering apartments are very clean and fresh. Some self catering apartments have a balcony which is a nice option and allows for fresh air to get into the rooms. Wonderful indoor swimming pool and sauna and steamroom. Pretty outside garden for sitting or having a drink. You can stay in the hotel and have your meals or do your own catering in the apartments. It's a very flexible place to stay. Parking is OK and I think the hotel has some bicycles too. Plenty of nice places to walk, ride a bike or horse or drive the car. Osnabrueck is close by - great for signtseeing and shopping . Easy to visit in the car or train. Only small problem we had was a repair man would come outside our room at 7:00 in the morning and start using power tools in the garden, so not good if you like to sleep a little in the morning!

Reviewed By Guest80Ok the hotel is a old historical building, but no reason to place a shower cabinet next to the bed. The bed was very very soft. Half of the bulbs not working. The receptionist during check in was in a bad mood. She has mot given any information about rates,breakfast or even where the room is....

Reviewed By Neil OA nice size room with good quality fittings and decor strange arrangement with collecting the key from the hospital around the corner. No breakfast available until after 8:30 from the place next door which was no good for me but generally good. Will stay there again.

Hotel (Gästehaus) in guter Lage mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Es liegt mitten im schönen und ruhigen Kurort Bad Rothenfelde mit netten Geschäften, Restaurants und genau gegenüber der Therme mit sehr schön angelegtem Kurpark! Wir haben die Unterkunft nicht sofort gefunden da sie hinter dem Hotel „Zur Post“ liegt, also ein Gästehaus des Hotels war, was wir nicht wussten. Wir bekamen den letzten Parkplatz im Hinterhof, da das Hotel ausgebucht zu sein schien. Zu unserer Überraschung wurde uns von einem sehr freundlichen Herrn an der 24-Stunden-Rezeption ein Schlüssel überreicht und wir wurden wieder nach draußen geführt, dort wurde uns ein Hinterhaus, das noch hinter den Hinterhofgaragen lag gezeigt, dort mussten wir unser Zimmer suchen. Dieses war schlicht und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, mit TV, großem Schrank, bequemen Betten, Schreibtisch und Sitzgelegenheit. Das Bad war zwar schlecht beleuchtet, aber mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Die vor dem Zimmer liegende Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln konnten wir abends nicht mehr nutzen, das Zimmer konnte mit Rollos komplett verdunkelt werden! Gratis-Wasser auf dem Zimmer! Das reichhaltige Frühstück am nächsten Morgen, das im Hotel serviert wurde, war ein gelungener Start in den Tag. Preis / Leistung und Atmosphäre perfekt. Das Personal war durchweg nett und superfreundlich. Schwimmbad u. Sauna haben wir aus Zeitmangel nicht genutzt. Für den Preis von 104€ für 2 Personen war die Unterkunft aber trotzdem preislich nicht ganz angemessen.

Sehr nette Leute dort, aber die Zimmer Info Bad sind aus den 60er Jahren.... Keine Beschwerden bzgl. Sauberkeit und Frühstück ebenfalls ok. Charme eines Dorf Hotels in der alten DDR... Preis sehr günstig, von daher ok für ne Übernachtung.
