Fun to stay here
Reviewed By heimbody2015We spent a night here while hiking the Lechweg. We arrived on the hotel's Ruhetag, but the staff left clear instructions as to where to find the key. We settled into our room and then enjoyed a wonderful evening meal. This is a family-run hotel, and we were treated to some accordion music from one of the daughters. It was fun to watch the grandfather ask her to play for the guests -- and very gratifying to see how the other guests in the dining room really took to the music. She must have been playing traditional Austrian music. In the morning, breakfast was very hearty. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Reviewed By Seaside60394726391Stayed here for multiple nights in summer 2021 during hiking vacation. It was not a great experience: no wifi in room or outside in garden; only in lobby. Staff serving food was not very friendly and seemed focused on getting us out of restaurant as soon as possible. Food quality was mediocre, portions are small. Room was outdated but clean. Would not recommend staying here. Personnel seemed not very dedicated and more on auto-pilot.

Reviewed By lorenorz2018Waren für eine Woche zu Gast in der Pension Johannes. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, schön und sauber. Das Frühstück reichlich und lecker. Unsere Gastgeberin Frau Heel war sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Für uns die perfekte Unterkunft und wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Super-schöner Urlaub
Reviewed By maditapetersWir waren eine Woche zu Gast bei Haus Petra und wir wurden von vorne bis hinten verwöhnt. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig gelegen, mit einem großen Eck-Balkon, auf dem wir abends raussitzen und die Aussicht genießen konnten. Das Frühstück war wundervoll, mit frischer, neuer Marmelade jeden Tag, wechselnden Wurst- und Käseplatten, frischem Obst und Gemüse, eigenen Eiern und immer genug frischgebackene Brötchen, dass man sich etwas mitnehmen konnte. Petra selbst ist unglaublich nett, man bekommt auch super Tipps zur Gestaltung von Tagesausflügen. Würde jederzeit sofort wiederkommen. Der Ort ist klein aber fein, für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten muss man einen Ort weiter, geht aber dank der Lechtalkarte ja kostenlos, zu Fuß ist es auch nicht zu weit. Die Umgebung ist atemberaubend, man kann vom Ort aus direkt den ersten Berg (Jöchelspitze) besteigen, ab 2020 voraussichtlich auch wieder mit der Seilbahn. Rad fahren kann man dank der Tallage auch super. Für Abenteuerlustige empfehle ich E-Mounainbike-Fahrten in die Berge. Die Bikes kann man sich im Nachbarort ausleihen.

Das Essen war fantastisch wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und somit das 4 Gänge Menü am Abend, wir schwärmen noch immer davon. Wir kommen wieder !!

Evening meal disappointing but cheap so suppose get what you pay for. 20 minute drive to Warth for access to main ski area - plenty of free parking in Warth. Would return.

Unser Haus liegt im idyllischen Ortsteil Oberbach, sicherlich eine der schönsten Lagen im Ort. Sie wohnen Ruhig, Sonnig, abseits der Hauptstrasse und doch Zentral zum Dorfgeschehen. In nur 5 Gehminuten stehen Sie mitten im Dorfplatz, sowie bei der Bushaltestelle vom Ski- u. Wanderbus, der für all unsere Gäste GRATIS ist. Bach liegt in der Mitte vom oberen Lechtal und ist somit nahe beim Skigebiet Warth-Lech, Österreichs größtes zusammen hängendes Skigebiet. Für Ihren Sommerurlaub oder Winterurlaub ist Bach ein idealer Ausgangspunkt.

Reviewed By CaptainPacificThis was our top find in terms of B&B accommodation during our month-long tour of western Austria. I wish we could have taken the rooms & host with us for the whole trip. It's very rare that I give 5* ratings - I have high expectations - but I needn't have worried here. This wonderful house is situated perfectly in the middle of the Lechtal - ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Austria. This area is still just a little off the beaten track for the mega tours, and so is uncrowded most of the time. If you love exploring the mountains and valleys and being close to nature you will love it here. I am told that the winter brings a wealth of cross-country skiing opportunities in particular. The people are extremely friendly around here, and they seem to appreciate that you have ventured off the tourist highway and taken the time to investigate their world. For example, we had a wonderful evening in a little village called Elmen, just a little further east along the valley, being welcomed into the local restaurant as if we were special guests. Back to Pension Sennhof, we could not have wished for a more inviting host. As soon as we arrived in the evening, she asked us what we would most like for breakfast (from a vast array of possibilities), and sure enough, the next morning we were presented with all our wishes. This was just typical of the level of service we received. Any information we wanted to know about the area was readily forthcoming, so that we could make the most of our stay. We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 teenage child (for 71 Euros per night). Our suite included two double bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, bathroom & balcony. It was very spacious, well equipped and very very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. You could just hear the sound of the cascading river in the background and our view from the balcony up the valley was simply beautiful. All this for such a bargain price! If you feel like you are in need of completely winding down from a stressful life - come and stay here.

Reviewed By Alain RIt has a nice green space to enjoy the hours of sunshine and the murmur of the river allows for quiet and comfortable nights, although the down is very heavy and warm. The lounge is equipped with a large Samsung screen to enjoy Netflix programs. Small bathroom with a shower, very clean.There is a sauna outside, but we didn't use it. As for the kitchen, we regret the absence of a microwave, dishes and cutlery for the service, as well as one or two additional poelles. But by asking, we can get them. A carport is available. About the food purchases, the supply is relatively poor. 2 supermarkets, no butchery, no bakery/ pastries, a little disappointed on this side. In the neighborhood a market with farm products would be an advantage. But maybe there is it, we have not found it. As for the possibilities of walks, they are endless. However, as dog owners, we regret that most of the mechanical climbs are "sesselbahn". The environments are like everywhere in Tyrol, "gemutlich und sauber". A nice place to stay in the most wild valley (as they say)

Reviewed By Erik ZEs war sehr schön! Herzliche Begrüssung, praktische Ferienwohnung, man kann sagen es hat alles zu 100% gepasst. Sehr gute Lage, mitten im lechtal. Es ist eine wunderschöne Region zum Skifahren und zum entspannen. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Lech und warth! Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.
