A simple menu with traditional dishes, but done so very well and with a nice connection to local champagnes. Weather permitting, sit outside to enjoy the spacious terrace and great view. Staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are moderate.

The absolute worst place I have spent money at! I would not recommend anyone ti eat there, it is horrible. What is more horrible than the food is the arrogant and rude staff. It is an ok place to have a drink at.But do not eat there. Sent the food back as it was not eatable. The way the waitress handled the complaint was just ridiculous.Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

We visited Le Darjeeling a few times whilst staying at the ibis hotel that is nearby.Service was always good and one waitress actually sorted out another table for us when someone started smoking next to us. That is one of the problems of dining outside. I preferred to have breakfast here in the morning because the service was much better than the hotel and we were always greeted with a smile. They offer a wide range of tea and they have coffee from various countries. This is a very popular place with French people.

Its located at a crossroads so is usually busy. Reasonable good food and service with quite a wide range of dishes on the menu. They do speak English. Seems to be patronised by locals as its in a spot that lots of people pass by. Is also near the train station

We love it here, and have enjoyed lunch here many times in the past! This visit was no exception! Great for lunch, my husband and I both had omelettes which were absolutely lovely - and fab chips. I was glad I asked for my omelette without chips, so I couldn't eat too many! Brilliant location, right on a huge roundabout in the town - so it's great to people watch. Advise booking a table to avoid disappointment. Service was friendly and efficient. Not fine dining at all, but great for lunch and a quick bite.

Changement de proprietaire
We chose Le Khedive for lunch based on the number of what appeared to locals in the restaurant, in fact the place was buzzing and all ground level tables were occupied As a table of 4 we were offered seating upstairs. As my parter and I were with French friends we left the ordering to the experts and they selected the fixed price lunch menu of 3 courses. We were not disappointed. Leek tart, followed by chicken and sweet plate of the desire. All good.Service was excellent and friendly especially when a wine accidentally tipped over the waiter immediately replaced at no extra cost.

Why is a bar situated at the end of the Avenue de Champagne so ordinary? Great location, busy, reasonable if limited menu....but under staffed! Madness! We have found most restaurants very surly....really donât understand as there are lots of âordinaryâ people visiting here! Wake up Epernay- you couldâve brilliant!!

Having been to Reims and surrounding areas, we stopped off here very briefly, in Epernay for the first time.Picked this randomly for its location.Great value champagne. 39 ⬠for a bottle of Laurent Perrier.

Plat du jour was passable but nothing special. But the creme brulee was verging on splitting, which is unforgivable. Perhaps we have been spoilt by the abundance of excellent food in the region, but this was the least impressive meal of our stay.
