Shorter menu that other places and specialises in Bayern and Swiss cooking styles . slightly more expensive than other restaurants so for me better for couples and groups than with children . Food was very well cooked and nice interior . Enjoyable visit .

From the outside this is nothing out of the ordinary and even on entering it is just a normal Tirolean Wirtschaft. It is a bit old fashioned but quaintly so and the place is always clean and tidy or has been at least on our last 5-6 visits. There is a great choice of many types of food on the menu and having worked our way partly through it I felt it was time to be able to give them a review.It is a family run business where dad does most of the cooking and the boy looks after the guests along with either his sister or wife, I didnât ask.To be honest when I go out I am much more interested in the food I get than who is actually running the place.I have to say that the tomato soup in here is the best homemade soup I have ever had. It is simply a dream. The other thing they do exceptionally well is roast lamb on a Sunday. It wasnât a very big portion I got but it was enough to shake the taste buds into shock. I have never in my life tasted any lamb quite as good as this.My wife normally has a mixture of fish with salad and I have had everything from the grill teller to pizza. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal in here. It is reasonably priced although the drink could be a fraction cheaper but the food is so good that this is not a complaint.The friendly service and lovely food make this a place that we will continue to return to. One thing to watch out for though is that they leave the OPEN sign out all year, even though they are closed for their holiday. Worth booking and getting a reservation for.

We stopped here after refuelling and had excellent roasted chicken on a stick. Hamburgers werealso very good!The waiter was fast and we enjoyed conversation. Nice break after a long drive.

At this place everything is really 9n point at this place:Location: just across the street from the main train station in Kufstein. Even if you are just stopping by here is a great place to eat but also locals are always eating here.Design and arrangements:They have four tables outside where you can also catch the sun while you are eating and enjoy a good quality coffee and a cigarette if you are a smoker.Interior is with taste decorated.Clean and tidy is the overall impression.And also something that most of the restaurants save money, is the washrooms. Here is not the case. They are clean, big enough and have sensors for everything, water tap, pissoir and towels.Food and service qualityWhich in the end is definitory for a restaurant is really good. Always fresh and with great taste.Also a big plus for the people working here, always friendly and helpful.I definitely recommend this place!Enjoy
