Arrived in Innsbruck late afternoon, half an hour of shopping, walking through town, in the cold with the kids, looked at Tripadvisor, found Da Rocca and âBoomâ: fantastic food, low key, friendly, family type service, nice wine (and beer), kids happy......85 Eur. Best value restaurant in the world!!!!

The menu and people are promoting gluten free pizza, pasta and others. Unfortunately the ignorance of the chef about the celiac desease is really high, he cooked the potato inside the water of the gluten pasta. To apologise he said. "Ok, at the end you can take one of your pils and all will be ok". Nothing to say more!

I started with the grilled Haloumi cheese (accompanied by arrugula) and âgrilledâ octopus (accompanied by arrugula) and pita bread (be aware there is a charge for the bread). The Haloumi was great. The octopus was acceptable but had been boiled before grilling which yields a different texture to that which we eat in Greece and not my preference . I followed with lamb chops accompanied with potatoes (meh) and superb green beans. I had white wine, red wine, and two digestive mastichas. With tip, I paid 65⬠and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Thank you for the very good rating odysseusk. We rely on the feedback of our customers and are of course pleased with such good reviews. We were staying close to this restaurant and decided last minute to eat here, based on the menu we saw outside. It was extremely busy and they managed to fit us in which was amazing. We waited about ten minutes for a table, which was no problem.The service was lovely, the food incredible, we had a lovely small table at the back and didn't feel rushed or as if we were waiting long for food, they were very attentive making sure we had drinks. It was lovely Italian food in Austria and we would definitely go back.

This cozy restaurant indicates itself as an Italian restaurant, but the variety of the menu is much wider. Their traditional Austrian Wienersnitzel was excellent, made out of veal, not pork. Of course their Italian plate was also perfect, the pasta carbonara, made out very Italian way. Service was efficient and polite, with quite fluent english. Prices are not so moderate, but considering the quality, thus are ok. They offer local beers, like most of the Seefeld restaurants, which is great thing. At our last day in Axams we decided to go simple and order a pizza. As is commonly found in skiresorts we thought the pizza would probably be not great. However, when we went to pick up our pizza we were pleasantly surprised by the sight of a stone oven and some happy faces. Pizza came hot out of the oven and we only had to wait for 1 minute (literally). Ingredients were fresh and taste was amazing! Would definitely recommend.
