The Bangkok Restaurant is fusions Asian restaurant located in the middle town Salzburg cuty, of course different Thai food, Japanese food and Chinese food, we stay at the Hotel Mercure City Salzburg and rainy, go there by foot because it is very close, then select Thai food, it is not original but badFood was good, the staf are nice, helpful, friendly

1st time we travel to Salzburg and we found this small restaurant by chance. We really love this restaurant and the food here. Itâs cosy decoration, tasty food and very helpful staffs. My children are very excited because the could choose the ingredients by their own. They left nothing after meals. Highly recommend and surely come back here if we travel to Salzburg again.

We visited this restaurant as the one next door took a big Christmas party booking and referred us to Marchharts instead. We found the welcome warm and the service very good. The mixed starter to share was delicious and the mains (we chose Thai) were very nice, and filling. They also have a neat little self service gin bar which I took avail of. I remain disappointed that we didnât get to the original place and Iâm not sure if Iâd go back.

We discovered Taj Mahal in Salzburg, Austria a few hours after arriving in town. Couldn't get into the restaurant on our first night in town, but made a reservation for the following night. Had the best Lentil Soup (Dal) we've ever encountered. This was folowed by excellent lamb and chicken dishes and wrapped up with an excellent rice pudding for dessert. Restaurant is largely family run - father, son and daughter. Very knowledgeable, friendly and competent staff. We were so impressed we booked another dinner for our last night in Salzburg - it was a repeat of competence on all levels.

On our way back to Salzburg we felt like Chinese and following TripAdvisor we found this place. We were quite happy, not only the decoration, the furniture, the tableware were authentic, but also the dishes. Amongst us we tried all types of dishes (and having lived in China for years we could benchmark) and it was really good and quite authentic. The dumplings, the spicy beef, the hot and sour soup and much more. They even have Tsingtao beer (which is not obvious with the stiff local competition here). At the end a nice hot plum wine and we knew, this is a place to recommend. The owners have been running this place since 1987.
