Had to drive to Austria several times for business reasons, it's finally a pleasure to stop and have a good meal in a REAL Italian restaurant in Villach. Real because, differently form the other places in the town where the only Italian things you can find are the (often misspelled) names on the menu, this place is run by Italian guys and, most important, the cook is Italian and all the fish comes from the Italian shores. They also serve good meat actually and pizzas, but I personally find most tasty their seafood dishes. Summarizing in three points: good quality of materials, reasonable price, careful service. I'll stop there again.

Früher ist man am Kopein Skigefahren, die Lifte gibt es aber heute nicht mehr, aber der alte Landgasthof steht noch. Das Ambiente unverändert wie damals, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und gerne erzählend über die alten Zeiten am Kopein. Gar nicht alt dann das Essen und die Getränke. Feiner Schweinebraten aus dem Holzofen, Leberknödlsuppe, hervorragende Cevapcici, köstlichen Salat (ohne Maiskörner!) und als Nachspeise Kletzenstrudl - alles hausgemacht und mit regionalen oder eigenen Produkten vom Hof gemacht. Diesen Landgasthof möchten wir gerne empfehlen, nicht zuletzt nach Wanderungen und Radtouren beim Mittagskogel und der nahen Bertahütte.

Enjoyed dinner at Aqua since we were in the mood for appetizers and pizza and a casual setting. Aqua met our needs.The food was good, but not exceptional. We liked the appetizer better than the pasta/pizza dishes.We were able to walk in without reservations on a Sunday evening (perhaps because the final game of the World Cup was being played that evening).

This is restaurant with relaxing and lovely atmosphere. Food was very good, steak perfectly done and fish & shrimp stew was great.Very good dessert, good choice of wine, service professional, good value for money. Recommended!

Fabio runs a great local pizzeria and Italian trattoria by Faakersee. His brother cooks too. Don't expect super fast service so enjoy the ambience and relax into it. Great plate of fish to share as antipasti. Fine quality pasta and very good pizzas. Tiramisu is a great way to round off an enjoyable meal plus the odd gulp of grappa.

We visited Terra Sarda twice this summer and both visits were very good. The outside of the restaurant is not fancy and attractive but the interior is very nice.Staff is attentive and real Italian. A warm welcome. Reservations will be needed to ensure a table. They have a good wine list which is reasonably priced. Do not expect mainstream Italian dishes like pizza margarita or spaghetti bolognese. Instead can choose from authentic Italian dishes. On Thursdays they will receive fresh fish from Italy. So try the tuna steak or the clams. They were outstanding.Portions are of the right size, forget the mineral water from a bottle, the tap water comes from the mountain and is really good.A place to recommend!!!!
