We always have plenty...so if you need a big order at the last minute...we have you covered! In an age where most pork barbecue is cut, chopped, or ground by machine...we still hand-pull or "pick" the meat from the bone. I had a loaded baked potato. It was huge and good. The parking lot a challenge and getting back on the road was the same. Cheap Eats Its serve yourself. You order at the back and sit. I noticed a long line at the take out window. They do most their business that way,

Donuts are delicious. Must go very early in the morning because she will sale out and the shop closes for the day. All donuts are very tasty. Highly recommend you checking out these donuts.

Starbucks is a great and dependable place to spend in Athens, Alabama. You know what you're going to get and you know that the atmosphere will be what you've come to expect of a Starbucks establishment. The one thing that sets Starbucks apart in Athens is that it's a bit of cool in a place that's um... ok to visit, but wouldn't want to live there.

To me the hallmark of great BBQ is when it doesn’t need the sauce. At 306, the pulled pork and ribs stand on their own, also excellent ham and tasty-meaty wings. Like many great bbq joints, no frills here and none are necessary. Fast, friendly service and a team very proud of their product. Sides are basic but that’s not why you come. Price and value are normal for BBQ in the area. Definitely worth the drive but not every week.

I have lived in Athens most of my life and one of the pieces of my childhood consisted of trips to Kreme Delight. I always got a vanilla dip cone- and I still do! The only change through the years is that now you can use a card instead of cash only! It is an institution in Athens and a must drop by- you will probably have to stand in line at certain times in the summer, but it's not bad.

We were in town for the day, and a local recommended Village Pizza. We order the Sid, which was delicious. Service was also very good.

A client of mine treated me to lunch here. I had the chicken casserole (which was more like a creamy stew), the cornbread salad and the strawberry-pretzel salad.
I much say that the food was deceptively delicious! What they lack in presentation they more than make up for in flavor!
And, while the case of sweet treats looked extremely appetizing, I had to pass. No time for a nap this time of day.
If you find yourself in Athens around lunchtime and want something other than the standard burger/fries, give Suzanne's a try. You'll be glad you did.

Clark's Restaurant is located just off I-65 and highway 72 behind Raceway. We serve fine dining & comfort food at afforable prices. The atmoshpere is bright and cheerful with quiet music that allow you to converse with your guests. We have consistantly maintained a high 90s health rating for the 5 years we have been open. All our food is cooked fresh with the finest ingredients. We have children's items available.

We ate at Clarks and had their filet mignon and rib eye steaks with compound butter. It was cooked perfectly and simply melted into our mouths with each bite. The steak was definitely the star of the meal, but the sides were tasty, too. We had green beans, sweet potatoes, butter beans, baked potato and cole slaw as our sides. Desserts were on the menu, but we were fully satisfied with our dinner and opted out. We will certainly return to this quaint little restaurant for the steak alone.
The restauant is a converted brick house and the decor is neither trendy nor shabby. It is just a pleasant place to have a very good dinner. One need not dress up for their dinner as casual attire is certainly acceptable.

Got hungry and grand daughter agreed on Cracker Barrell because of the Dumplings. She ordered the Dumpling dinner with a side of dumplings. Wife got the porkchop lunch and I ordered the campfire chicken dinner. And as usual we all enjoyed our meal. It's hard to go wrong at CB.

Great atmosphere and plenty of televisions for all the sports. The food was amazingly delicious. The fiesta plate was huge and full of chicken, steak, and jumbo shrimp. The charros beans are great. They stay really busy but we did not wait for food very long. The staff is very hard working and polite. Definitely give this place a try, you should not be disappointed.
