Pugide Hotel is located in the small village of Puertas de Vidiago, between Los Bufones de Arenillas and El Idolo de Pena tu. Very close to Llanes (8kms only) The hotel has single, double and triple rooms with spectacular views, each has a private bathroom and all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Outside has a wonderful garden decorated with traditional elements of Asturian culture . It also has a terrace to enjoy your breakfast including homemade cake , brownie, frixuelos , omelette, toast loaf with tomatoe, jam, honey ... And for dinner has a varied menu with cold dishes. And if you want we prepare you a special take-away picnic ! The hotel has a common lounge with TV and free Wifi to use, ideal for reading or haveing a nice conversation. It also has free private parking inside.
Lovely reception but be aware that you are in a small pueblo away from city life!

It was a bit rustic and HOT when we were here in early September but we were received with smiles and the same gentleman took our breakfast order (which was included in the room rate). The late evening sun streams in the rooms on our side became quite hot and steamy. Room was clean and comfortable for a one night's stay. The "town" or pueblo was tiny with very few services beyond two bar/restaurants.

Thoroughly disappointed

Nothing on Propety - nothing you can do even if you wanted to chill No pool No shampoo/conditioner No security box No windows - dark/stuffy No mini bar Old, run down furniture that’s not antique Dust on cups, spider webs, bug poop on robe Restaurant - Waiter didn’t tell us there was a course menu, no cheese to go with wine, poor attention, poor wine list, risotto was on the stove for way too long and therefore very salty, suckling pig was probably the best dish out of everything but still not impressive.

Reviewed By Orracle51Nice spacious rooms, very attractive. Mattress was the most comfortable I have had in Spain! Within walking distance of a nice park, restaurants and stores. But no USB ports and the bath area is strange, The shower opens right into an open area—no privacy. Told them about a bulb that burned out in the separate toilet stall and nothing was done by the time we left. It was a little noisier than I expected for such a nice hotel. I could hear neighbors and hall noises.

Reviewed By HawkstonesAt first we were a little disappointed with our 2 nd floor room as we were travelling with our dog. However the beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. The small attic room had enough cupboards but both my wife and I banged our heads. The location is superb just a minute from the beach. Air conditioning would improve the rating

Good Location to visit Pico's de Europe
Reviewed By Roger BReserved a Superior Club Room and was not disappointed . Room Very Spacious and being on a corner had windows on both sides so room had lots of light. Bathroom was very large with a huge Spa Bath. The room was clean and maintained very tidy and exactly as we expected having stayed at other Silken Hotels. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car Parking was ideal and for Spain had very large Parking Spaces. Dined one night in the Hotel Restaurant which was average pasta dish was cold when served but quickly rectified. Staff appeared to be under pressure. Breakfast was very good with lots of items available on the buffet. Staff arranged for an omelette to be cooked to my specification. Would sty there again.

Spa no better than a typical pool or sauna in a poor gym. Very dated, not in a quaint way. Beautiful area but to enjoy need to leave hotel. Can hear everything in the rooms and halls , great if you're into voyeurism. Went to the restaurant for a drink and thought we were short changed... we weren't, charged high end prices for low end services. Take a short walk across the street for nice tapas and cheap drinks... possible to make your money back if you sue for the spa facilities. Lots of loose fittings like hand rails. If u want to swim be careful of the elliptical machine submerged in the water with no warning. Still laughing at that haha wtf

Off season and a great stay. Cangas now a buzzing tourist and local town
Reviewed By VpsteveWe stayed at the imperium as part of a pre season motorcycle tour for 3 friends in Asturias. We have been many times and Cangas is still local Spain but a popular tourist destination too. This hotel overlooks the Roman Bridge and is literally on the doorstep to walk into cangas town or have a drink riverside within a minutes walk. The staff are really helpful and speak perfect English. Great breakfast plenty of hot water, comfortable bedrooms and linen. Bikes welcome, off road and a small amount of underground parking available ( this might get restricted in high season I think)

Perfect hotel for exploring the old town of Oviedo
Reviewed By 438carlnPerfect location for the old town.just two minutes to the cathedral . Front of house staff were really helpful too and friendly - lovely modern rooms too . Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice . Underground parking was less than a 5 minute walk and hotel gave a discount on the overnight charge . Would definitely recommend staying here

You are near town center and so easy to reach from airport! All staff very nice with us from advisor, to receptionist and never forget housewives and barmaid.

Reviewed By TannygillVow , beautiful building , ultra modern , very quiet ... fantastic building with great views. the lift is funny , you have to tell on the outside where you want to go , so it feels weird standing in there without any buttons ... but saying that fabulous place , again i was leaving early before breakfast was served, the concierge very kindly put a few things for me in the bag for my train journey to Madrid
