Our Chef was a true delight. Wait staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Our children (6 & 8) loved their meal (which came with chips and mango sorbet as an added bonus!!). We visited Misono at the Marriott Surfers Paradise for a birthday dinner for my partner! It’s a lively, fun teppanyaki experience and the food is good - similar to any teppanyaki restaurant on the Coast really. Dennis our chef was really entertaining and doubled as a DJ with great music blaring from his prep trolley! This is not the place to go if you want an intimate dinner - it’s loud and noisy but lots of fun!

Dined here in March 2018, fortunately for us not many people were there as was a weeknight and we dined late. Table by the water.
The service was fantastic, the waiter was very attentive to our needs and the food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. Highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy.

The staff were super friendly and catered to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the veal scallopini funghi I didn't even need to use my knife the veal just ripped a part it was absolutely perfectly cooked. My partner had the amatriciana gnocchi and he could not fault it, the sauce was just right and it had a nice bit of spice but it was not too hot. We also had the crumbed camembert with chilli plum sauce and that was absolutely divine. One of our favourite dishes when travelling Europe was crumbed camembert and it nearly gave that one a run for it's money! I went to Alfresco as it was my birthday the following day and the waitress brought over a piece of tiramisu and sung me happy birthday which I thought was so lovely and it really made my night. I just loved everything about this experience and I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. I can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu. Absolutely divine!

We only dined here once during our stay and it was good. The service was average - the maître d' was very polite but other wait staff weren't as cheerful. As for the menu options, they are plentiful and serving sizes are substantial. You can see the meals being prepared which is a bonus.

The breakfast buffet was great, heaps of choices from hot to cold dishes. My daughter love the ice cream station, no kid doesn’t like ice cream for breakfast. I love the Vittoria coffee. But please change the sliding door to outdoor Seating. It’s very hard to open specially when you are holding a plate. If you cant change it to automatic doors atleast make it a swinging one.

Loved the garlic and parmesan pizza however when we got to the vegetarian pizza we found some questionable hair in it. The owner joked it looked like fur and discarded it. Considering it was found under all the toppings and I don't own a pet, this is worrying. Perhaps if we had brought it up sooner it wouldn't have been treated as a joke. We left the rest of the pizza and took the pasta home to only discard it after feeling grossed out by the thought of our experience.

I have reviewed this restaurant before, but it has been a while and it’s time to review it again. We have had birthday dinners, one was a big one, family dinners, dinners with friends and as tonight just us as a couple. The food is always amazing, we have honestly never had an even average dish, it’s always delicious...the view over the water toward the highrises is very peaceful. The owners are very proud of their restaurant and food; deservedly so. If you like Greek food or even just good food, this is the restaurant, certainly the best Greek Restaurant on the GC.
