We had breakfast here on our way to rafting. The food was fine, but the service was slow. I think they need more help especially when they are hosting large groups that show up in the dining room all at once. We were not part of a large group, but we had to wait for service due to a crowded dining room.lynnet174, Thank you for dining with us at Diamond Creek Restaurant. This is a must stop on Route 66. The dinner included a tour. The location was beautiful and the view from the landing used for the restaurant did not disappoint. The table next to us was occupied by one of the owners who walked over to greet us. Many of the employees are related and they treat the location like family. Pie at dinner was all you can eat and made by the mother of our server. They had a chocolate silk pie and a banana cream pie which were both amazing. The location says no children but we were there with our teens who were happily accommodated.
