Amazing 5 course dinner experience costing 130 euros with drinks included for 2 diners. Salmon layered with fresh prawn in filo pastry; spiced pumpkin soup with bursts of flavour; succulent fish; chicken with mozzarella and finally apple crumble tart- all delicious. Cosy living room setting with attentive hosts. Lovely evening.

First visit to the restaurant and the food and service wes excellent . I would recommend you book to save disappointment . The restaurant is quite small and packed out with people waiting for tables . Steak pie and the baby back ribs was fantastic but portions could have been smaller with no complaints .

They have refurbished and it looks really nice. Food is as good as ever and we visit regularly. It is difficult to get a table in the summer so go early!! You can't book so first come first served. There is a nice bar over the road where you can wait for a table if necessary.

Yummy with a capital Y! Saw this place while on the tourist road train and it looked very classy and was obviously very popular. With very good reason! The selection of cakes, pastries and gateaux was a picture to behold. The hardest thing was deciding what to have. We visited twice during our day in Albufeira and can’t praise it highly enough. The gateau melts in the mouth and the pastries were simply divine. Definitely would visit again.

Was in Albuferia with friends and went to this restaurant, some of our friends had been before so it was highly recommended. This small restaurant is very old fashioned however do not be fooled or disapointed the food is excellent and so are the Chef and his staff. There is a great atmosphere inside and nothing is too much bother for the team. We didnt bother with starters as we heard the steaks & plates were huge and they were. This is one of the best Fillet Steaks i have ever tasted, seasoned and cooked (medium) to perfection wich chips, mushrooms, rice and salad. I did not take any sauce (pepper etc) i like a steak to stand on its own and it did. I will return to Farnels if ever back in Albuferia and will recommend to others, thanks mmm.

I don't usually give 5 stars as there is always some room for improvement but this is the exception.
The food is really good and reasonably priced but what brings it up to 5 stars for me is the proprietor, Jay. She manages to make every guest feel like a valued old friend. It makes a big difference. and a complimentary drink at the end too!
The only minus is that it is cash only but that's OK as long as you know in advance so not worth knocking off that 5th. star.

As far as Piri Piri Chicken goes it is hard to go wrong at Albufeira Gourmet Churrasqueira Take-Away. The surprise though was the sausages, we absolutely loved them. In fact, when we did the second take away during our holiday, we ordered a lot of sausages as they were a bestseller with our family. The service was fairly fast and prompt. The team was very polite and helpful as well.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home- everyone was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. We had the portobello mushroom app, and the beef stew and chicken with port sauce - all were amazing and such large portions, we didn't have room for dessert. A final home style touch- a shot of port wine on the house! Get here- you'll want to come back!!

Hard to find a indian resturant which is halal (meeting a Muslims needs) but this place was a real find. A small place but attentive staff. Food arrive sizzling hot. Nans wonderfully cooked. Chicken and lamb very tender. The spices used were just right and this coming from an asian who eats indian most of the time.
Potions were accepable for the price.
If you like indian you must eat here to sample the delious food. Will be back before going home.
