Located on the Danish island of Bornholm, Allinge-Sandvig is the product of a merger between two small fishing villages. It’s close enough to the impressive medieval ruins of the 13th-century Hammershus fortress that you could make a day hike of it, strolling past beautiful scenery. For more adventurous travelers, kayaking in the Baltic Sea is a popular way to experience the Danish coast, and rock climbers can scale coastal cliffs and abandoned quarries.

Restaurant Le Port is an experience all year. You will get the best from the classic Danish and French kitchen served with the most beautiful sea view Bornholm can offer. In the summer you can enjoy the sunset and in the winter we keep it cosy indoors with a log in the fireplace.
It is a family resturant established since 1976, and has been relaunch and modernised. The food presentation is contemporary, light and delightful. Using seasonal produces. Price is reasonable 4-course DKK480 and 3-course DKK410, wine by the glass range from DKK75 to 95 and the serving...MoreThank you very much for the nice words, we are very pleased. We hope to see you back on Le Port another time and wish you and your family a great summertime. Best regards Gabriela - Le Port

The best thing after spending a pleasant day on Bornholm is to enjoy a meal prepared by fresh ingredients in relaxed environment and with a nice atmosphere. Atmosphere and relaxed environment are key values for Margeritten. On the menu you can find something for everyone in every age and for prices everyone can afford and the food will be served by a polite and competent staff. Margeritten is family friendly where children are always welcome. We can present a varying salad bar which is filled with exiting and fresh vegetables. If possible all the products in our kitchen come from suppliers on Bornholm.Restaurant Margeritten is situated at Kirkepladsen in Allinge at the Northern Bornholm overlooking the newly renovated town square and the church. When good weather, lunch can be enjoyed in our lovely patio. We are ready and looking forward to see you and your company.
My husband and I just returned from a very enjoyable anniversary dinner. We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked and they were very busy. The staff were all smiles and so friendly!
We were told there would be a bit of a wait for the food since it was so busy, which was fine since they told us.
We ordered Plank Steak and Plank Chicken to try something local and we both thought the food was absolutely perfect. It was so delicious! The atmosphere in the place was great and even though they were ridiculously busy, the staff couldn't have looked happier.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and if we visit Bornholm again we'll be back for some more of this outstanding food!

Kiosk mit eigener Sandwichkarte, Softeis, selbstgebackenem Kuchen, Kaffee, Tee usw.
I've been a regular in Hammerhavn a couple of years, and I am still surprised by this ordinary kiosk serving the most delicious homemade cakes.
If You decide to take the popular trek around Hammerknuden, pass by here for a coffee, and dont't cheat yourself of the substantial, well-made and reasonably priced sandwiches.
The view of Hammershus alone is worth 5 stars.

Allinge Harbour on top of Bornholm. The views, the sea and life at eye level. Enjoy a brunch, delicious sandwiches, a 3 course or just a good glass of wine. We do of course use all the local commodities we can get our hands on and we are looking forward to give you a good experience. Welcome to 'Sommer' and the south-european atmosphere on the rocky island.
During "the peoples meeting" when Allinge is overcrowded we managed to get a table during lunch hours after a reasonable short waiting in queue.
We had our lunch rapidly -- good fish and chips, sparkling mineral water and then dessert. We were rather happy and satisfied -- not cheap, maybe lower price rest of the summer.

we went there for the concert a couple of evenings ago: nice evening, but huge queue for the buffet dinner, and 100 DKK for half sausage ( kids menu): we thought it was a joke... room for improvement there!!!

We ate here dinner with friends. This is highclass, a bit pricy restaurant with good service. The starter confit was good, but the main dish (white fish, halibut) had a lot of fish bones, big and small in it so ecperience suffered from that. Wine list was fine.

We had no Reservations and they were extremely busy and yet they fixed a table for us and served us with a smile. Delicious food and they have a weekend deal of appetizer, main course and salad bar with house wines or beers for one set price. It was great.

well, this is obviously a specialty restaurant, so don't go there if you are looking for a pizza. but if you like smoked fish, something which is increasingly harder to find these days, then this is THE place! their smoked mackerel is just out of this world, juicy yet not soggy, smokey but not so much so that you donÄ't taste the fish, just perfect. after all, they have more than 100 years of experience in doing just that - smoking fish. try it here, it doesn't get any better anywhere else. all the salads and herring they offer ... you can get them at the supermarket ... the smoked fish is THE attraction here! plus they have all-you-can-eat buffets at times, if you prefer to dine that way.

Did not have dinner here but breakfast. The choice was very limited. Not a great variety of choice, but I guess it was OK for a 3 star.

We knew nothing about this restaurant before choosing it for our lunch. As we were looking for a local place to eat, and it was full of people, we decided to go with the flow and give it a try. Although the majority of guests seemed to be enjoying the fish buffet for 200 dkk per person (it truly looked vast and delicious!), we ordered a fried fish fillet and a smoked Atlantic mackerel. All ingredients in both plates seemed to be freshly made and tasted fine, - however, not too different than they would taste in a number of other restaurants in Denmark.
Although both inside and outside Seating areas are quite large, it gets crowded by the bar where the food is to be ordered. Queues to be expected, even if it's just a regular Monday in summertime.
The ones that choose to sit outside can enjoy the sea view, and that, in my opinion, is by itself a huge advantage.
