The garlic pizza bread was out of this world, and my pasta was magnificent. Service wasn't good though. I asked 3 times for a spaghetti spoon and never got one. Portion sizes were small for the price too. Good atmosphere though.I’m sorry but the picture you posted is not from our Pizzaria Di Romma. Cute local place serving yummy food and drinks with quiet outdoor seating a few blocks off the water. Worth the short trek!On the food front, My husband And I devoured the well charred and seasoned salmon fillets (no heads, tails, or skin) served with broccoli and cauliflower and mixed veggies. The well dressed simple salad hit the spot. Cheap gin and tonics made with fresh mint the owner picked off her plants right outside the front door!Service was super friendly and accommodating - can’t beat this Portuguese family’s hospitality. We learned they moved back here after 14 years in England, so the accents are fabulous too! The wife offered to make any omelette we want when we return, which we will. Strong WiFi is another plus.

We arrived at 9 pm on a Thursday- restaurant was very busy. Initially we were placed at a table indoors- it was very hot - they managed to move us outside. The bread/sardines were 6 euro and delivered without asking. Water was 2 euro. We shared burrata salad with spinach pears and walnuts. The burrata was excellent. Hubby had grilled octopus - compared to other restaurants it was average and the portion was small. The side salad had an amazing dressing. I had shrimp with garlic appetizer-it was very flavorful but shrimp were overcooked. We had a bottle of wine for 13euro. All together the dinner cost over $50 euro- our second most expensive meal in Tavira . Service was ok- not very friendly... I wont bother to go back. First of all we thank you for your opinion, because our goal is to always improve and we can only reach this objective based on feedback from our clients.We will be happy to welcome you again in our establishment.Best regards

We have been here on two occasions now. The food is delicious and the service is superb. If you are looking for an alternative to portugese food but still with an authentic twist then give this place a try! Good value for money and nice for couples of families. Would recommend the rabbit and clams and also the seafood tagliatelle.

We stopped for lunch after passing by and spotting somebody else's lunch! It looked really good, table setting, presentation everything looked great and we weren't disappointed - best tapas we had whilst in Tavira. The fresh rolls and tuna pate to start was lovely (couvert) we then had baked camembert with walnuts apple and honey and eggs chorizo and spinach then a duck croquette with quinoa. Fantastic! A couple of glasses of rose to wash it down, we tried to book for our main meal that evening there and then but they were fully booked unfortunately - so book in advance if you want to try!

Had been once before and would have rated it a 3 as hard to get anyone to come to table for service, or additional drinks etc.. but decided give it another go. Terrible experience though. We had to repeatedly ask for the vegetables after the mains arrived. Had to ask for one of the drinks (simply a house red), ordered with the food, 3 times and starters were finished before it arrived. The chicken was small and had lots of small broken bones through it and it ruined the meal and the ambience of a special evening. Even at the end, it took 20minutes after asking, for the conta / bill to arrive. So disappointing... We live in Tavira and there is a lot of choice for good food. Franganaria has had 2 chances now, so we won't be back Que pena que só tenha mal para falar de nós, nao tenho ideia de quem voçe é, mas se nao gosta nao ha nada a fazer e quanto ao tempo de espera creio de deve saber que em pleno verao é normal em qualquer restaurante, so se nao houver clientes, eu tambem vou a outros restaurantes e entendo isso perfectamente, se nao gosta de esperar é melhor comer em casa. Quanto ao tamanho do frango é normal e todos os nossos clentes se voçe nao gosta sinto muito mas nao o vamos mudar. Obrigado de qualquer forma pela visita

I went for the Angus sirloin steak and wasn't disappointed My partner opted for the salmon plus prawns and she was impressed, which is praise indeed! All the tables are on street and you need to book at least 24 hours beforehand so to ensure you secure a table!
