There is a lots of restaurants close to the hotel and public outdoor parking is also available. Not far from the quaint village of Saint Ceneri Le Gerei (15 km away), the hotel is 2 km from the Parc Anova Exhibition Centre and only 30 minutes from the 24 hours race in Le Mans.

Restricted car paces outside, although the hotel staff recommend alternatives, but all car parks are free Sundays. Basic but clean rooms which I found quiet. Good breakfast selection. Alencon is a delightful town to wander through. A visit to the Lace Museum was well worth it, stunning displays of this towns important trade.

Ok for overnight stay
Reviewed By Julie SThis is acceptable for an overnight stay if you just want a place to sleep on your way into France or back to Calais, the beds are clean and comfortable but the location is on a busy junction and very noisy and the whole building is tired and needs updating. We ate in the bar and had a delicious Tangine meal and the owners cousin who is looking after it whilst he’s on holiday is attentive and a good host

Reviewed By gerardsY8689VHnotre chambre était spacieuse mais malheureusement située au deuxième étage et j'avais spécifié que mon mari étant handicapé il ne pouvait accéder qu'à une chambre au rez de chaussée ou éventuellement premier étage. J'ai donc dû monter les valises et les redescendre ensuite. La salle de bains ; l'évacuation dans la douche ne s'effectuait pas.... pas de chauffage d'appoint. La cafetière ne marchait pas et le petit déjeuner (1 sachet par personne de café soluble) était léger, le pain était très froid!! pas satisfaits du tout. En revanche le lit était très confortable.

Under cover parking available for a small extra charge (this needs to be booked in advance) Very good value

Reviewed By Tmark7012Room was generally grubby and in need of refurbishment. Bed was worn, creaked and was uncomfortable. Light switches faulty, and one right would not turn on. Air conditioner was not working and would only blow warm air. Unable to comment on Restaurant as it was completely booked for evening meal, however a good restaurant 300 meters away.

Reviewed By Peter LThis is a very convenient stopover if one is driving south. Near the motorway, with free parking and a restaurant. Clean and quiet and cheap petrol just down the road! The staff were efficient and courteous. What’s not to like?

The room from hell
Reviewed By fattyNewcastleFind a cave or sleep in your car I have never experienced a room like this room 15 I have photographs to prove what I am saying to be true .It was virtually impossible to use the toilet also I have photographs the inspector of Contact hotels must have missed room 15 because he would not sign off on this hotel.They say in there brochure there is parking facilities for free what they don't tell you is you must have the driving skills of a formula 1 ace.Never again,and to think he could charge 59.70 euro for the experience.

A comfortable warm hotel with secure parking .
Reviewed By smheggartyWe used this hotel en route to the UK mid November because it was five minutes from the motorway and the secure parking was a must for us. We were so pleased with it that we used it on our return journey mid December.. It was warm and comfortable and extremely quiet despite it being in Alençon itself. For the second visit we reserved a garden room which was extremely spacious with huge curved sliding doors into the pleasant very large walled garden . It would be lovely in summer as there is a large terrace which also can be used for drinks from the bar . The manager was extremely helpful and reserved a table for us at a local restaurant both times . The rooms had excellent reverse AC and super hot modern radiators . The huge beds were comfortable and had lovely linen . The breakfast was extra but was varied and plentiful and well worth the money . We will definitely use it again on out trips to and from the UK .
