Very good budget hotel
Reviewed By Paoloc0211This is a budget hotel. I found it very good for the price. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was also good. The location is very central and there is also a private parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By Pmiller987Expensive to get to via taxi! The next more the hotel booked a vip taxi which cost 3x the cost of a normal taxi but since we had a flight had no choice to pay. Breakfast was okay good spread! Room was small especially the bathroom couldn’t swing a cat.

Reviewed By Traveller VWhen travelling to Southern France I stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was spacious, clean and modern. In the bathroom there is no shower cabin but an "open" shower so that the water is running over the plastic floor. The breakfast was good. The personnel is friendly and service-orientated.

Reviewed By PJC39If you have any access issues don't go near this hotel or its reception staff. As always I checked about them having an accessible room as Im wheelchair dependent. I was told there wasn't a problem. We arrive at the hotel to face a flight of stairs to reception and a platform lift that had been broken for 6 weeks. Instead they decided to carry me up the stairs in my chair. Checking in I was told they had one accessible room but it had been out of action for 4 months. But they could offer an alternative. Decided to go and look only to be faced with further stairs and having to resort in going outside to use a service lift. The room itself was nicely appointed but with a door to the bathroom so narrow I couldn't fit my wheelchair through . By this time it was late and we have been travelling for a number of hours so we decided to stay for one night until we could relocate elsewhere. The view was supposedly of mountains - all we had was a blanket wall of trees. Sleeping with the windows open was nice except for the staff smoking area on the floor below. We moved out as quick as possible the next day. It is a beautiful if tired looking hotel but the staff were the problem - they really couldn't care less and simply lay the blame on it being an 'old' building - sorry but that excuse didn't work as the alterations necessary could be done in 10 minutes.

Violette, Philippe and Jennyfer will welcome you with warmth and friendliness. They also have a studio for 1 until 6 persons with kitchen + JACUZZI.

Friendly staff but not a place I would recommend.. it’s not worth the price on top of that, was the breakfast 12,5 € each - and really not worth it. No food available around - except a take away menu.. that looked like food my grandmother get by the old people’s council.. microwaved lasagne, cold vegetable pate, a tiny piece of cheese, a cake etc 22€ each …

From the calming elegant scent of the hotel that welcomes you at the very entrance to beautiful and elegant rooms with bay windows overlooking the nature, to the great spa and two restaurants with food and wine always prepared and served to perfection. All of this crowned with impeccable elegant service, yet always in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are beautifully decorated, nothing too much, nothing to add - just perfect. Bed is large and high and most comfortable I have ever slept in a hotel. Bay windows, looking to the nature and the mountain - so calming. One of the reasons I now became a regular guest is the calming spa of the hotel, with great indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by beautifully decorated gardens and Hamam with perfect humidity and nicely equilibrated scents. Common areas have been redecorated couple of years ago to have a very elegant modern-rustic and chic feel. What is very pleasant for a returning guest is that you feel that all the staff, from the receptionists to the general manager and his deputy really pay attention to your needs and preferences and already after my second visit, my stay was prepared and everything arranged according to my needs and likes even before I arrived. I can not say but nice things, as I have only pleasant memories from Jivahill. Thank you Mr. Mercier and Ms. Lamiot and thank you to all the reception and restaurant and all other staff of the hotel. And special thanks to the cleaning ladies that keep this place impeccably clean and neat.

Excellent apartment on a budget
Reviewed By David AStayed at L'Oree du Parc in Divonne-les-Bains for three nights in March 2022, deciding to book one of their small apartments. This is larger than their standard Studio, having a separate bedroom and a lounge/dining room with a sofa which would convert into a single or double bed if necessary. For two people we had plenty of space. Cleanliness on arrival was excellent and the overall condition of the apartment was also very good with only a few small signs of wear-and-tear which were really unnoticeable. The kitchenette facilities were fine for preparing breakfast but we didn't use them for cooking any meals. I'm sure the hob and microwave would be adequate for preparing a small meal if you wanted to eat in. My only minor comment would be the curtains in the bedroom should be thicker than the net provided, since there aren't shutters. This meant the outside lights shone into the bedroom at night, but really I didn't lose any sleep due to this. We would certainly stay here again, as proven by the fact this was already our second visit.

Convenient for the purpose
Reviewed By Anda AI stayed here for the exhibition in Palexpo. It is relatively close and cheap alternative to hotels in Geneva. Rooms were cozy and clean, more than you can expect for 2 star hotel. Breakfast basic but ok for the price. All in all, would recommend for a short stay. Nothing to do in the neighborhood though, so I recommend renting a car.

Why so mean?
Reviewed By salmoneaterA very nice hotel in the centre of town. Stayed in a 'superior' room which was large and comfortable and clean. Just one quibble: why so mean on the coffee and tea supplies? There was one of those unfortunate coffee capsule machines (would prefer a kettle) with just one normal coffee capsule and one de-caff! What if both room occupants want normal or de-caff; what if they want a coffee on arrival and one in the morning?
