9 Wine Bars in Vienna That You Shouldn't Miss

February 8, 2022 Nicolette Lion

In Vienna, the coffee house isn’t just a hangout: it’s an institution. Lingering over a newspaper with a pastry and a strong espresso drink is, according to UNESCO, officially a Viennese cultural pastime. Walk off your slice of Sachertorte with a self-guided tour of the city’s stunning traditional, Secessionist, and modern architecture, such as the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Kirche am Steinhof, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, an exercise in ornate geometry.

LAMEE ROOFTOP Bar

To be honest, we do not know if anyone can "give us enough water" in terms of Location, view and atmosphere. But we prefer wine and cocktails anyway. And we like to extend that to our guests from Vienna and all over the world at the very top, in front of the most beautiful backdrop of the city. Even in winter we serve hot Punch and mulled wine to our guests . If there is bad weather we unfortunately have to close our LAMÉE ROOFTOP.
