Garnering critical acclaim by nature enthusiasts and environmentalists, Masungi Georeserve is a conservation project in the Philippines situated in the Southern Sierra Madre range in Baras, Rizal. Unassuming in its beauty, the rainforest sanctuary is an oasis where nature shows its truest form through its unique rock formations, wildlife, and plant species. As an official travel partner of Masungi, Tanlines will take you just an hour and a half away from Manila for an experience that should not be missed. Take a day away from the clamor of the city to commune with nature as you are guided through a cave, stone trails, rope courses, and a hanging bridge while learning about the conservation efforts for the terrain.

The day started at 11am with breakfast at the Tanlines Lounge. I opted for the continental breakfast, but they also have a choice of Filipino. The food was good and setup nicely. Next, we rode a Jeepney (my first time riding a jeepney!) to Intramuros, the famous walled city of Manila. Thankfully it wasn’t too traffic, as the ride isn’t air conditioned. Dustin, our awesome tour guide made the ride enjoyable by giving us a background on the city before we got there. At Intramuros, we went to the San Agustin Church and Casa Manila - our tour guide was incredibly well informed and explained a lot of how our history has affected and formed how Filipinos are today - it’s a great cultural experience for both foreigners and locals. We ended the tour at Batala bar with craft beers and ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about Philippine history and culture in just an afternoon. Total tour time was just 11am-4pm leaving time for all your other weekend activities.

Our trip was a shared one , we knew this and pick up was on time, Guide gave short introduction at each stop then group had a set time before we moved on. Lunch was initially to be very early 11.30 am but we alll agreed to make the river cruise and lunch last stop after chocolate hills. Viewpoint needs 200 plus steps so not for the lesss mobile. Pity that quad bikes below disturb peace of site. Excellent buffet lunch and river trip with music and bankside cultural show. Good value and varied if you can spare a day off the beach.

We are a couple and we had a private full day tour to the Taal volcano area and Pagsanjan Falls. We had an amazing experience, the Yolo team was perfect, true professionals. Ryan, our guide, was so polite, with great knowledge of the areas and the English language. His English were so clear. This doesn't happen often in Asia. The areas we visited were superb and we had lunch at a traditional restaurant near Pagsanjan falls where we enjoyed the local cuisine and chatting with our guide and driver about life in Philippines. At our way back they treated us with Coconut pie! Fresh hot from the best bakery of the area. Yamy! An unforgettable experience. I totally recommend YOLO travel agency.
