Great service with super cleaniness

This hotel's hot water temperature is ideal, I asked for the maximum temperature, they contacted their maintenance staff and got back to me right away. The temperature is set at 130-degree Fahrenheit or 54 degrees Celsius. 3. The cleanliness was impeccable from lobby, hallway, to room. The pantry area was organized and clean. 4. Plenty of parking. Negatives: 1. There seems to lack of consistency in terms providing bottled waters to IHG members either booking direct or via third party. Just like lack of consistency about hot water among Holiday Inns and also toilet plumbing did not work in El Paso, TX. I made the suggestion to Renee, the front desk staff, about they need international standardization on multiple fronts. Other info: 1. It's off one of the major streets in Brandon, and it was Victoria Day's long weekend with amusement-park country fair going on diagonally across the street, 0.25 miles away, but the sound proof of this hotel was great, barely could hear outside noise. 2. There is a cannabis store right in front of the hotel. Overall, a hotel with excellent service, impeccable cleanliness, thoughtful guests and neighbors nearby to ensure quietness.

Better than the Holiday Inn & Suites in Yorkton
Reviewed By GeminicanPositives: 1. Kenny the check in staff was great. Showed the room to me before I booked and did the check in. 2. Quiet, clean hallway and lobby. 3. Easy parking 4. Convenient location with a grocery store called Save on Foods next door and restaurants nearby. 5. Provided welcome gifts. 6. The room was stocked with plenty of toilet paper (two full rolls), and two boxes of Kleenex. Negatives: 1) a small hair found on the lip of the toilet cover, you wouldn't see it until you put the lid down. While it’s not in a noticeable place, but still is unclean. When the housekeeping cleans, looking around the corners including hidden spots to ensure they are all clean is essential in the hospitality industry. That’s what sets a great hotel apart from an average/mediocre hotel. 2) the facial wipe seemed to be old, must have been there for many days as the plastic wrap surfaced felt very dirty, kind of gross. It’s not noticeable, but again, it s a quick and easy check for housekeeping. Had this hotel did a better job in cleaning for the above two items, this would have been a 5 out of 5 rating. Additional info: 1. This place is better than the Holiday Inn & Suite in Yorkton, because their driveway was full of potholes. 2. Days Inn is located in a more modern area of the city and more convenient to restaurants, grocery, and gas. Overall, still good hotel. Would recommend. 4 out of 5.

Decent hotel close to casino
Reviewed By HabscoupleStayed at this property while in town for business. Check in was smooth and quick. Room was very spacious, bed comfortable but pillows/blankets looked a little worn. Bathroom was clean, but shower curtain very short which caused some issues. Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of selection. They were out of hash browns when I went down, and sugar for coffee. and cutlery. All in all not a bad hotel though. Would consider again next time I am in town. Located at the other end of the city from most of the restaurants which is a bit of a drawback as well (but would be perfect if you were in town for hockey)

Reviewed By janjh75Filthy filthy filthy. If I wouldn’t have precooked and paid for two nights at would have left. I ended up disinfecting my whole room. Omg. So so dirty. I am not fussy and can get past a hair on the floor but this was unbelievable. The only good thing was the comfortable bed!

Reviewed By mmkingonThis hotel is very dirty and dated. The linens on my bed and the shower curtain had stains...so gross I asked for new ones (which also came stained with blood). The rooms are dated, even the curtain rods are barely hanging on. The general cleanliness of the hotel is below standard, and the breakfast wasn't very good. To top it off, I was overcharged on my credit card (was supposed to get the group rate for our team). We'll never stay here again.

Reviewed By AngeloM155Overall was good. But wouldn’t give it a very good. Rooms are a bit tired but clean and they have updated. Like any update or retrofit you can see areas of the room that were done poorly (shower taps tub drained etc). Nothing major. For us the check in was not good. Computer apparently down and front desk guy didn’t seem to know what to do, several of us waited 20 minutes or so until computer got up and running. The heat in the room not great but ended up needing to unplug heater for 10 mins and then plug it back in. Then seemed to work better. Pool and hot tub were also not working and out Of order. Breakfast was very good though and well done.

Reviewed By Scott MCheap and great location. Can walk to Tim Hortons, Gas Station, Pizza joint, A&W...friendly front office, dog friendly, hunter friendly, has additional freezer space. No frills. Comfortable beds, nice tiled shower, cable television. Hard to beat for the price.

You pay to much for a room
Reviewed By OliverDeGuzmanThe room was dirty. Everywhere was hair and the desk was not cleaned for months. On the wall the management placed singes with all kinds of penalties / fines for missing glassware, tableware, kitchenware and not doing dishes while the cabinet wass almost empty and lacking all inventory. The airco was very loud. Actually the room was outdated and it has lack of maintenance.
