Great dinner with colleagues
Reviewed By valerioc2105I'm in Sankt Valentin for 3 Weeks and I've been in this restaurant already 2 times. It's a really particularly restaurant:when you come in it's seems to be in the city of Santa Claus. Everything, and I really mean everything, is decorated with Christmas decorations. Just see the pics of this report! In the centre of the restaurant you can find a giant Christmas tree with an electric train moving around it. Gifts oending from the roof. Anyway, let's talk now about food: i took the typical schnitzel with French fries and salad, a soup with mushrooms, a big spaghetti with cozze and tomatoe. Very good red austrian wine and a really really good espresso Macchiato! I really recommend this restaurant for the kindness of the whole Staff, the good of the food and wine and to eat in particular place where you can be a little young boy during Xmas day. Very very very well!

Reviewed By danielabarbutuThe staff was friendly and helpful. We had a nice dinner at their restaurant. The family-room was very clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. All facilities needed, good location, toilets separated from bathrooms. Loved it and definitely recommend it. For sure we will come back.

Reviewed By Adventure35822935108Very friendly place. We were a bigger group and they did everything to make dinner and our stay in general the most pleasant. Food tasty and very nicely presented. Good selection of breakfast options. Good size rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend.

Reviewed By BagmanNZOn the way from Munich to Vienna we stopped off here for a break to refresh and grab a bite to eat. Service is friendly and quick. They have a few buses stop by so I guess they're used to turning through people quickly and efficiently and they id so well while still making you feel welcome.

Reviewed By John HFound this place on TA, booked directly by email with the hotel. Nice family-run place, excellent restaurant. Room was large, double bed, fast free WiFi (and free sweets!) No issues with train noise, and breakfast was plentiful. Just 15mins on the train to Linz. Will be staying again!

Reviewed By Stancu IThe room was clean and the area is very quiet and rural. The yard offers you the chance to feel the fresh air that smells like apples and grass. The mattress was great, and the room, although outside was a bit (more) chilly over the night, was warm. Enough parking spaces so you don't have to worry about that. We had a good rest and I recommend this little guesthouse to anyone traveling through Austria. They serve breakfast but we didn't have time to try it.

Reviewed By Thomas MBin öfters dort. Ganz tolle Küche zu moderaten Preisen mit tollem Service. Wer Wert auf gutes Essen legt ist dort gut aufgehoben. Im Sommer lädt ein toller Biergarten zum Verweilen ein. Meine Empfehlung.

Reviewed By eulalia333Zunächst: wahnsinnig kurzfristige Buchung möglich Super: gemütliches Zimmer, tolles Gelände, fünf Minuten bis zur Ortsmitte, nahe am Tierpfleger, Parkplatz vorhanden Aber: Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können(siehe Bild) und für 110.- für ein Doppelzimmer erwarte ich ein pipifeines Frühstück und keine Aufbacksemmeln, saure Milch und Automatenkaffee, sowie verschrumpelte Paprika, Tomaten aus Spanien und Joghurt von clever. Außerdem musste jeder die selbe Gabel bei Wurst und Käse nehmen - ohne Desinfektionsmöglichkeit Großes Manko: wir wurden nie nach dem grünen Pass gefragt - wir wären ok, aber was war mit den anderen Gästen? Große Unsicherheit

Reviewed By Thomas RAngefangen hat es, dass der Wirt 40 min nicht erschienen ist (trotz Anruf), um uns unser Zimmer zu zeigen. Danach mit vielen blöden Sprüchen (kleiner Lugner vom Dorf) nicht entschuldigt. Die Größe der Zimmer war ok, wenn nicht eine tote Fliege 2 Tage im Badezimmer gelegen wäre. Frühstück bestand aus alten Semmeln und ein paar billigen Wurst und Käsevariationen (+den üblich klein-abgepackten Marmeladen und Nutella-Ersatz) Der Preis war höher als auf booking, zu diesem Preis haben wir in Innenstädten (zb. Berlin) schon gewohnt. Abschließend ein teures Vergnügen, wo man nicht viel geboten bekommen hat.
