Light crowd, ordered dinner about 6.30pm. Three meals ordered, the food is "pub average" except for the spagetti dish which was undercooked pasta (heaps of it) on a thin white water base, with sprinkles of bacon chips to represent cabonara, left it, went home for dinner - dont say we didnt warn you.

Unit 36 - Owners should be ashamed!!

Very disappointing. Spent a LOT of money on a penthouse spa unit overlooking the ocean, only to find that NONE of the outdoor furniture was able to be used. It was dirty, moldy, corroded and / or ripped. Not what you want to find when the plan was to relax on the balcony for 4 days. Curtains were also extremely smelly and covered in mildew. I understand that the beach front is harsh conditions, but when you pay nearly $400 per night, we expected to be able to enjoy the views in comfort. Also, the kitchen had no hot water coming thru, so we had to boil the kettle to do the dishes, and the hand-held shower in the ensuite didn't work. Overall, location is lovely, but I won't be spending that much money to stay again.

Sylvan Beach Resort

Clean, quiet holiday apartments, but no lift to upper floors

Reviewed By Katherine H

I had a lovely, week long stay in a 3rd floor apartment. The beds were very comfortable, and the living space and kitchen were spacious. The complex is located opposite Sylvan Beach, and it is a short walk to the local seafood takeaway and bakery. It is a 20 minute walk to the local supermarket. There is onsite, undercover parking. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with basics to get started with. The onsite pool is small, but adequate for a refreshing dip on a hot day. My only downside was that there is no lift to reach the second and third floor. If stairs are an issue, it's best to make enquiries about a ground floor apartment. Wifi is not included in the apartment rate and was difficult to connect to. Once connected- the wifi was not adequate for streaming services.

Great location, owners and breakfast

The room included food for breakfast - cereals, bread to toast, butters and jams. Also included tea, coffee and a full liter of milk. The location was beachfront and walking distance to the jetty and restaurants. We really loved how friendly and welcoming the owner was! They told us all sorts of useful local information. Also their lovely rescue cat was there to welcome us and say goodbye when we checked out. Will stay here again when in Bribie.

Disgusting display of Management

Reviewed By Redrocbeck82

Absolutely disgusting display of management. MY ADVICE WOULD BE NOT TO BOOK AT THIS APARTMENTS! A phone call was made and advised we would be late for check in on Sunday due to a medical condition. But they wanted to leave early to go to their sons. So we had friends also staying in the apartments pick up our room key. They were also abused on a number of occasions by management. Upon check out was the true display of why not to stay at this complex. My mother who suffers from Parkinson’s was abused, had her card thrown about and this women raised her arm and hand not once but twice. Mum who obviously felt threatened pulled her phone out and did record it. So we have the threat of physical abuse on video. To come and stay here for ANZAC Day with A group of veterans and to be abused including on ANZAC Day. Shows these people have no respect and should not be in this position of dealing with the public.
