All the staff are very friendly and hospitable. May free coffee pa sila. Parang nasa bahay lang kami during our stay. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends. I will surely do.

Reviewed By ghin123Guimod House is about 2 miles away from bustling Vigan City in a quiet and very safe area (fenced in and they close the gate when everyone is “home”. ) Look out for the sign along the highway as you have to turn in and follow a short private drive to the property. It is very clean and well maintained, has everything you might need for a comfortable stay from WiFi to warm showers (though we truly did not need it, Vigan was hot...for us anyway). Great place to wind down and relax after a full day of activities at Vigan. No close by restaurants but should not be a big deal if you have your own transportation and we found that Chowking delivers, there’s also a picnic area with a grill under the trees close by. The staff we dealt with are friendly and accomodating (shout out Leah). Would definitely stay here again the next time I go to the Ilocos.

Terrible service from the owner herself

My son got an electric shock from the shower heater and we got transferred to another room with a broken entrance door lock but opted to stay for the night since we checked in 10 pm, really tired. Next morning, we were able to talk to Jen, the owner, and she said that they will transfer us back to another room. Because of the electric shock and the several transfer, i told her that we will just look for another hotel due to all inconvenience they caused, but she doesn't want to refund the remaining downpayment and even started raising her voice. It was a long argument, she was not even apologetic of what happened and started yelling at us in front of all the customers. She doesn't want to listen and would constantly interupt us or turn her back on us while talking. She even made a comment that it was just a ground (electric shock) making it sound like it is not big deal! We opted to stay for one more night to consume the remaining downpayment but had to pay extra charges so we can keep the same room and not worry about transferring and repacking all our stuff. Next day upon checkout, the frontdesk officer doesn't even know we made a downpayment and was asking us to pay the entire amount. We made a payment thru the owner's gcash account and it wasn't even in the system! When the staff was able to verify, i asked for a breakdown of the fees and there was a food charge that we didn't order. Sneaky way to get more money from us huh. I had to dispute again and it was eventually removed from our bill. As for the rooms, as i have mentioned, first room has an electric shock in the shower heater. Second room's door locks are all broken, both for the entrance lock and the toilet lock. They were not able to fix it so we had to call one of the staff everytime we want to enter the room. No toiletries given so we just opted to buy since we somehow felt it was already intentional on their part because of the scene with the owner. Lots of watermarks in their shower and toilet. There were few stains and holes on their bed sheets and blankets. Gave us free breakfast on our second day but the beef tapa is very chewy and cant be swallowed. It was a week long vacation and good thing we were still able to enjoy the rest of our trip after all the stress and inconvenience this hotel brought us.

Small quite place
Reviewed By Maria Theresa CFirst time here nice, quite and clean place. Staffs are very accommodating. Extra P50 peso charge for Extra pillow.?? Philippine pillows are so thin? You can walk to Vigan tourist view. Empanada were delicious too greasy MUST dipped to vinegar.

Reviewed By reynagacityWe go on tour few days ago at the North and had an overnite stay at Redoorz MelSol Hotel in Vigan. The hotel look old but with magnificent entrance facade and spacious lobby, Rooms are ok with cable tv, hot & cold shower, AC ok, clean sheets and towel, w phone and ref and lanai but with some mosquitoes inside, clean CR and shower room but with weak water pressure, friendly hotel owner but her staff were unsmiling, some were helpful naman. Front garden quite unkept. elevator is ok. With free but ordinary breakfast, Waterless swimming pool. budget friendly hotel. near city center. Overall, the hotel is ok.
